Her new haircut gives way to a journey down memory lane; a major throwback to what they were once and the only happy ending that matters~~

She does it because it gets stiflingly hot lately and the amount of time her hair sticking to her neck increases as her belly gets bigger. It annoyed her so much that she booked her usual stylist to trim her lock this Friday.
Two hours later, Ye-jin looks at her reflection in the mirror, flipping her new hair a few more times before smiling in satisfaction to the hair stylist.
"You are the best," She blows a kiss to the younger woman who smiles wide at the compliment. "I haven't been sporting a short hair since five years ago. God, so much has changed since then."
"You're happily married and pregnant, for one." The stylist jokingly tells her, their closed relationship warrants her those teasing remarks. And at the mention of her marriage and pregnancy, her thought goes to— who else?
Her partner for life, her beloved husband.
And particularly this hairstyle— it takes her back to that day five years ago when she made everyone involved in the production stunned at her transformation on the first day of script reading.
She came with the shortest hair she had in years to play the role of the negotiator. Everyone praised her professionalism and her all-in approach to the role that had been given to her. She forgot how she reacted to all of those praises, considering her focus was actually on something else entirely.
If anything, it was her who was struck with awe when her partner showed up in those lengthy hair. It surprised her because— when she looked into him, like she always did to her co-star before she got into production of a new movie or drama, never once she saw him in that style.
That was how she got a glimpse of what kind of actor Hyun Bin was — the kind that was not afraid to delve deeper into the character he was playing — and he gained a fan in her that day.
Because as they spent more time together filming, she realized that his lengthy mane enhanced the villain's character, and the admiration she felt toward him just all the more profound.
At least, it started that way; little did she know back then, the man would become her forever years later.
"Now, I'm curious to my husband's reaction seeing me in this hairstyle." Ye-jin flips her hair one more time before giggling to herself.
She has teased him as his hair grew longer in this slow period they deliberately took to adjust themselves to all of the changes in their personal lives.
"Min Tae-gu is back." She ran through her fingers on his hair, gently massaging his head scalp on her lap as he surfed through the internet before bed.
Bin smirked at her comment then looked up to her. "You thought my hair was soft and silky back then."
"Duh," she shrugged. "It fell down to your forehead effortlessly, what other conclusion could I draw from the fact?"
He chuckled and turned his body, kissing the small bump in front of him on reflex. "Do you like this? I'm thinking of cutting it back short before the press conference for the new movie."
"Don't cut it back. Ever. I love this style on you."
"I have to cut it at some point."
"At some point is the keyword. That means not now."
"Whatever you want, Jagiya." He kissed her quick on the lips and she showed him why she particularly loved that hairstyle on the subsequent sexy time that followed.
