Death

"Samson" the dog came barking down the stairs as his owner called him down. Some chains he seemed to be tied up to followed behind him.

It growled and barked at Finney and Marie, and the grabber laughed.

The grabber had been smart to tie up Marie. As soon as he saw her, he had grabbed my a piece of tape on the desk, she whimpered and cried, she tried to scream but he quickly put a hand over her mouth and pinned her down. She was only a teenager, against the strength of a grown man.

Meanwhile, the police barged open and kicked the door open. They cleared out the hallways and rooms in the house.

Then, they all regrouped at the kitchen.

"It's all clear."

"It's the wrong house."

The grabber grabbed an axe, and went over to Finney. He laughed shortly and swung, but it just hit the mattress. Marie was right next to where he swung. But he had his eyes on Finney first.

Finney went over to the hole he had dug, and pulled the wire. And the grabber fell for his trap, as he screamed in pain, but still tried to swing at Finney.

Samson barked in the back, and Finney punched the grabber in his face, or rather his mask.

As Finney went for another punch, he was pulled down into the trap with the grabber. He pulled the mask off of him, and he covered his face and screamed as Finney got up and out of the trap.

Finney punched him multiple times, and then grabbed the phone wire, and jumped to the other side. He choked the grabbed with the wire. He gasped and choked for air, and the phone had rung again.

Finney put the receiver up to the grabbers ear.

"It's for you."

"Welcome to the nightmare end of your pathetic little life." Vance said.

"You. Don't. Have. Much. Time." Griffin laughed at him.

"Todays the day, motherfucker."

"I can't kill you, hijo de puta. So Fin is gonna do it for me." Robin said.

"Finns arm is mint!" Bruce said. And that was it.

He had remembered all of their voices.

And those were the last words that Albert had heard, as he sunk down into the trap, his body lifeless.

Finney was going to help Marie but Samson barked at him. All he could do was rip the tape off her mouth.

Samson barked and barked.

And the police upstairs searched until one found a door knob.

"Wait! We've gotta basement."

Finney grabbed a piece of meat and threw it to the dog. He quickly went back to Marie's and untied her, with shaky hands.

"Finney, thank you thank you."  She said, as she got up and hugged the boy.

Then she quickly grabbed his hand and ran up the stairs.

"Finney, thank you. Thank you, thank you. Thank you for killing that.. that bastard."

"It was for you. For you, your brother, and Vance. And every other victim."

She grabbed his shoulders and stoodhe looked up at her as she kissed him on the forehead. It wasn't romantic (obviously you fucking weirdos. Someone's gonna take this in a weird way, so I had to put that it wasn't romantic.) more as in a motherly way.

"Finney. Thank you. Thank you for everything." She said, with tears in her eyes.

It was over. It was finally over.

He started to tear up a little too.

The cops found a bunch of buried bodies.

"This is the missing kids. This is where he buries them."

"I think he kills them some place else."

"I think you're right."

"Now c'mon." She said, as they walked up for the door and he put in the code and unlocked the lock.

There was cops, everywhere. And then, Gwen had seen them.

Finney and Marie walking out the house.

Gwen stood up quickly, and Finney looked right at her. But Marie looked the other way, and at the house across.

She looked at the bodies being pulled out. And she wanted just one thing, she just wanted to see them one last time.

Finney and Gwen hugged and the detectives and cops raced over to the other house and the kids.

"Wait, can I... I just want one thing. Please. Please show me Vance, and Robin. That's all I want please." She begged them as they pulled out bodies.

"Marie-"

"All I want is this one thing, please. Please. Please-"

"Alright. Show her." The cop said to the man pulling them out in understanding.

The first one was Robin, she was beside him now. She gelt tears in the corners of her eyes, she felt relieved. But still, they were gone.

He had marks all over his body, his clothes were tattered. Then they put the cover over him and rolled him away.

And next was Vance. Nothing would've prepared her for that.

He was much more messed up. Bruising all over his face, scratch marks, bite's probably from Samson, dried blood.

Then they put the cover on and rolled him away as well. She went to a nearby curb, and sat on it and cried as Gwen, Finney and their dad reunited.

She felt like an asshole for wanting to be in that situation. Finney had just been kidnapped. But she had her brother and her boyfriend killed. And he and Gwen were alive, hell they had a dad.

But she was happy to know they were safe. And she would forever be grateful for finney.

Marie never stopped thinking about Robin, or Vance, her mom, or even her dad.

'Your dad always had a saying." She would remember her mom always saying.

"Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it."
