chapter 5 ~ rise and shine!(MORE LIKE RISE AND GRIND AHAHAHA sorry)

It was the next morning, and Joshua got up as soon as his alarm rang. He wished he could sleep forever but he was surprisingly good at getting up. He set his alarm earlier than usual, as he didn't know what time Jeonghan would wake up and he wouldn't want to wake up later than him, that just seemed rude. He stood up to use the bathroom and washed his face. With a towel slung on top of his shoulder, he knocked on Jeonghan's door while still wiping some water off his face.

He didn't hear any response so he assumed Jeonghan was still in deep sleep. He slowly crept into his room, making sure to make as little sound as possible. Joshua then lightly tapped his shoulder to wake the other up.

Jeonhan, with eyes still closed, greeted him with a "what?" as he rubbed his eyes.

"Sorry to wake you up it's currently 7 am would you like me to prepare breakfast for you?" Joshua suggested

"Mmmm~" Jeonghan mumbled getting up a little bit, on his side while his hand supported his head.

"Do you want anything specifically?" Joshua asked

"Br..bread.." Jeonghan let out as he face planted back into his pillow

Joshua snickered to himself, thinking that he was cute

He found out the house didn't have any bread, so he went out to a nearby supermarket he found with google maps. He bought a loaf of bread and some other ingredients for future meal prepping

He got back after around 20 minutes and prepared 2 sandwiches, one was filled with egg, ham and cheese while the other was a classic- peanut butter and jelly. He didn't know if Jeonghan preferred sweet or savory so he decided to make both and let Jeonghan pick which one he wanted

He placed the sandwiches on plates and placed them on the dining table, along with a glass of milk for each of them and a bowl of fruits he cut up

He approached Jeonghan's room humming a song softly. He knocked on his door once again and as the past repeats itself, there was no answer. Though Joshua was alreadg expecting him to still be asleep. He walts right into his room and kneeled down beside Jeonghan's bed, shaking him awake.

Jeonghan let out a tiny grunt as his face scrunched up. A piece of his hair fell on his face and without thinking, Joshua reached to the piece of hair to tuck it behind hus ear. But midway through, he realised what he was doing and paused. 'What am I trying to do! He might not be comfortable with touchy things!' He was about to retract his hand but Jeonghan swooped in and grabbed his arm, pulling it closer to him and hugging it like a pillow.

It seemed like when Joshua reached his hand out, Jeonghan opened his eyes a little bit but his vision was blurry, and he mistaked Joshua's arm as a plushie.

Jeonghan closed his eyes again, cuddling the other's arm between his. Joshua began to blush, using his free arm to cover his face to hid his embarrassment.

He saw Jeonghan start to drool and couldn't help but wipe it for him as his hands were already so close to the younger's face.

"J-jeonhan it's time to wake up" Joshua stumbled on his words with the situation he was in

Jeonghan wiggled his body a little and rised up, releasing Joshua's arm. Jeonghan didn't know what he had did to Joshua, that left him covering his flushed face, but when he woke up  he didn't know Joshua was flustered in any way. He had just woken up after all

"Oh it's you Shua~ good morning" He mumbled

Joshua put down his hand covering his face and let out a bright smile

"Good morning!^^ Breakfast is downstairs"

Jeonghan gave a small nod as hr headed to the bathroom first and Joshua went to the dining table.

Soon, Jeonghan came walking down the stairs, while he let out a big yawn and scratched his stomach, which Joshua found adorable

'Aaahh that was so cute..wait.WAIT. Hong Jisoo what are you thinking! It's weird to call someone you've just met 'cute'! Ugh.. what's wrong with me..'

Joshua snapped back to reality once Jeonghan sat down across from him at the dining table

"Here, pick whichever one you want. This one is filled with egg, cheese and ham and this one has peanut butter and jelly" Joshua pointed at the 2 sandwiches

"Well I'm alergic to peanut butter so I'll go with the first option!" Jeonghan said as he brought the plate closer to him

"A-ah.. I'm sorry I didn't know you were alergic" Joshua sighed as he looked down, disappointed in himself that he didn't take into consideration whether Jeonghan had any restrictions

Noticing that Joshua was feeling down, he spoke, "Well I don't have any other allergies so relax! I'll eat anything you make me! Well except vegetables of course hehe" Jeonghan reassured him with a wide grin. "Ooh! This is delicious~ Good job shua"

His compliment brought Joshua's spitits up and they both enjoyed their meal, talking with each other

Also did I just dedicate an entire chapter to a single morning? Yes. Yes I did
Another note - I realise that I wrote a few chapters back 'hes very troublesome' (refering to jeonghan) and I also realise idk how I'm gonna make mr yoon troublesome- if in later chapters I try to explain why his parents find him 'troublesome' it might sound too unreasonable but I'll try to make it work!
