The exams were going on and Ayena was tensed. She was preparing well but she was working for something else. She had applied for a scholarship to pursue her higher studies in Canada and she was working hard to fulfill it.

"Why are you so tensed?"- Afaq asked Ayena who was walking from one end of the hall to the other holding the book.

"What if I am not able to get a scholarship? Will my dream be a dream always?"- Ayena asked with tears in her eyes.

"Come here and sit." -Afaq  made her sit on the sofa.

"First of all calm down. Look you have got dark circles by taking so much stress." Afaq teased her.

"What? Did I get dark circles? How do I look? Do I look old? Will you leave me?"  Ayena started panicking.

"I'll have to think about it. If you keep stressing like this your dark circles will increase and then how will it look when we both would go out together? People would say look at the guy he is so handsome and his wife is so ugly." Afaq said controlling his laughter.

"What? Huh!" Ayena got up from the sofa and placed her hands onto her
waist.

"So I'll have to think about looking for someone else." Afaq teased her again.

"Don't you dare OK. I'll not take any stress. No stress, no dark circles and no other girl in your life. You are only mine OK." Ayena pulled Afaq by his collar.

"OK sweetheart." Afaq winked at her.

"You were teasing me?" Ayena asked Afaq.

Afaq laughed loudly. Ayena was mesmerized seeing him laughing after a long time. She prayed for his well being. Afaq was happy that his trick worked and his beautiful wife stopped taking stress.

The exams went well and now Afaq was busy with correcting the papers and other works related to it.

"Your coffee." Ayena handed Afaq his late night coffee.

"Thank you. I needed it badly." Afaq said.

"I know." Ayena placed her head on his shoulders.

"What are you thinking?" Afaq asked her.

"I was thinking if I go to Canada how will I live without you?" Ayena asked him.

"And how will I live without you?" Afaq asked her back.

"I cannot." Ayena said.

"I can try for your happiness." He said.

"Hmm" She replied and held him tight.

"Are you on your periods?" He asked.

Ayena nodded in yes.

"Take rest and don't think much." Afaq caressed her hairs.

"OK" she replied softly.

Afaq looked at his sleeping wife. She looked calm while sleeping. Will he be able to live without her? He would miss her smile, her silly talks and those mood swings. He would miss her jealousy and her love. He would miss her fofor him. He would miss her! But for him her happiness was more heavier than his love! Two years wasn't so long! Or maybe it was for them! Will this distance increase their love? Will this distance make them confess their immense love for each other?
