"Ayena,wake up." Afaq was trying to wake her up. But she seemed not bothered about anything. The college was reopening after the vacations.
"Let me sleep please." Ayena pulled the blanket over to her face.
"Don't you want to go to college? Did you forget today is the reopening day?"- Afaq yelled.
Ayena woke up with a jolt and ran to the washroom to get ready.
"Hurry up, we are already late." -Ayena shouted at Afaq who was taking his own sweet time to get ready.
"Look who is saying. You are the reason for getting late."- Afaq huffed.
"Oh really! Even though I got up late, I got ready in a jiffy." -Ayena snapped back.
"You...just shut up and let's go." -They closed the door behind and left to the college in bike.

Afaq parked his bike and both were walking towards the college.
"See you in the evening. Take care and have a good day." Afaq smiled
"You too." Ayena smiled back and walked away.
"You both are behaving like a typical husband and wife. What's up?" Farsha winked at Ayena.
"Its nothing like that." Ayena blushed
"Oh, someone is blushing." Farsha teased Ayena.
"Stop teasing me. Tell me how was the vacation and where is that monkey of yours." Ayena asked looking here and there for Rizwan.
"Don't call him monkey. He is my husband now." Farsha blushed.
"Oh ho.....Ahem! Ahem!" Ayena teased Farsha.
"He is ill. He will join college after a week." -Farsha said.
"Oh,that's sad. Do you miss him?" Ayena winked at Farsha.
"Let's go to the class." Farsha pulled Ayena to the class.

After a week,
"Ayena I have to go to Hyderabad to attend a seminar for ten days. You stay at your uncle's place." Afaq said eating the breakfast.
"That's nice. I was waiting for a long time to meet them. Finally I'll get some time to spend with them." Ayena seemed excited.
Afaq smiled and asked her,- "Will you miss me?"
"Will you miss me?"-Ayena asked back.
Afaq got up from the chair ,-" See you in the evening.
"What happened to him?" Ayena thought to herself.
Since Ayena had holiday that day she was at home and Afaq left to college to prepare for the seminar. She thought of packing her bags.
As she opened the cupboard a pile of clothes fell on her face. She rolled her eyes and thought to clean the wardrobe first and then go for packing.
After cleaning her side she thought of cleaning Afaq's side too. It was way more untidy. As she was arranging everything she caught hold of a diary dated to 2011.
"Its wrong to read someone's diary. Keep it back." -Ayena's mind said.
"He is your husband not a random person. You have all rights to read it." -Ayena's heart said.
After a great confusion , Ayena kept that diary inside her bag. She would definitely read it.
"How dare you touch my cupboard?"- Afaq shouted angrily.
" I was just cleaning it." Ayena said with tears in her eyes.
Afaq grabbed Ayena's hands and pushed her outside the room. He shut the door angrily.
Ayena stood there shocked. She didn't know what was her fault and why did he react that way.

After two hours Afaq opened the door and his face was all red. It was clearly evident that he was crying.
Ayena ran to him and asked,"Are you OK? What happened?"
Afaq yelled-" I am not OK. Did you hear that? I am not OK. It all because of you. You are the reason for every misery of my life. I just hate you. Get out from my house right now. Never come back to me again."
"What are you saying? What did I do?" - Ayena asked softly.
"I don't want to answer any of your questions. Just go away." Afaq said angrily.
Ayena got angry too. She held Afaq's collar-
"Who the hell do you think you are? If you are blaming me for something which I don't know them I have all rights to know about it. You cannot keep me in the dark and punish me like this. It not right. What do you think? Whenever you want you will come near me and whenever you want you will push me? I am a human dammit! I do have feelings. I am not a tissue paper! Why do you have to do it with me? Whenever I think everything is going to be alright between us you break my heart. Why? Why?"
"Its because I hate you. I hate you! You are the reason for my sister's death. Its because of you she left me. All because of you." -Afaq shouted.
Ayena was speechless. What is he even saying? She wanted to ask more but before she could ask anything he grabbed her hands, picked her bag and threw her outside the home.
Ayena felt so humiliated and broken. She wiped her tears and left to her uncle's place.
