~at the vampire cave~
~the next day~

I was up all night trying to get the handcuffs off my wrist and let me tell you I have been failing at it 'why for the life of Hades won't these things come off' I thought as I hissed in pain after coming contact with the silver again

"Too bad isn't it. Feeling weak at the moments you want to be a hero" I heard a voice say and I saw that it was the long haired guy standing by the entrance of the room "what do you want?" I said glaring at the guy as he entered

"Just came to check on you" the guy said as he leaned against a wall while crossing his arms "and what? Come to gloat about the state I'm in right now?" I asked "exactly" the guy said smiling and I rolled my eyes

"So I'm guessing Veronica sent you" I said and the guy nods "she wants to make sure you didn't escape" the guy said "oh right because that's really easy for me right now with silver handcuffs wrapped around my wrist and my moonstone that was taken from me by my now ex-bestfriend that betrayed me" I said sarcastically and the guy smirked

"Sucks doesn't it. Tell me how did that go for you...the whole betrayed thing?" the guy asked and I glared at him "that is non of your concern" I said trying to make it sound like I wasn't still hurt by William's betrayal

"Okay don't need to get all touchy about it" the guy said lifting up his hand in surrender motion 'I swear if A-li was around right now I would have asked her to vaporize this guy' I thought "you're one of Veronica's friends aren't you?" I asked and the guy's smirk turned to a more serious look

"Her second in command actually. why you ask?" The guy asked and I shrugged slightly, careful not to move to much cause of the handcuffs "I just noticed you always around her same with the girl and the other guy" I said and the guy just looked at me not knowing what to say

"Vanna, Valtor and I have been friends with Veronica since we were kids and we've stuck by her side ever since" the guy said softly while looking at me "What's you're name?" I asked "Vincent" Vincent said casually and I nodded as I thought of a question that I wanted to ask him

"Vincent you were one of the friends Veronica introduced to the wolves, weren't you?" I asked and Vincent sighed "unfortunately so" Vincent said "so what happened when you guys use to be friends?" I asked

"well it was all good I guess. We were just young back then. Having fun playing around the forest and believe it or not I use to be really close with Wyatt. We were like a dynamic duo until..." Vincent said but trailed of the end sentence

"Until Veronica told her father about the moonstone... but it's fine it was for a good reason" Vincent said and I looked at him sadly "Vincent what she did and what's she doing right now is not for a good cause" I said and Vincent glared at me

"And how could you possibly know that? You don't know anything about her" Vincent said sternly "Vincent innocent peoples lives are in danger because of her. Can't you see that!" I said with a slight loud voice at the end

"listen here I don't know what type of game you playing at. But Veronica is my friend and after everything she's been through she deserves a chance to avenge her father" Vincent said sternly as he started heading towards the exit

"Then why did you help me when she was about to blast me with the scepter yesterday?" I asked and Vincent stopped in his tracks "I knew she couldn't hurt you at that moment. You're friends are going come to try and rescue you. I was only thinking about the plan" Vincent said not even turning to look at me

"Or there is still some good inside of you. You still miss Wyatt and the wolves, don't you? That's why you helped me because I remind you of them" I said seeing Vincent put his hand in a fist before exhaling a bit "I have to go" Vincent said as he exit the room and I sighed

'Let's hope he makes the right decision'
