Chapter 10

"Your father has flown to Chicago with Kara." Tessa said as she busily removes the tomato from her burger and puts it on Y/n's plate. Y/n rolls her eyes and eats the tomatoes unwantedly thinking about the baby, "How did you know ?"

"My mom told me. Apparently no one knows about your pregnancy. They just know about you getting kicked out by him because you are in a relationship with Jungkook." Tessa chokes out while eating her burger with big bites.

Y/n sighs "I am sure I am the news of the household."

"Actually no. It is me." Tessa slumps on the table top with the half eaten burger clutched between her hands.

Y/n blinks confusedly, " What ? What do you mean, Tessa ?"

Tessa licks her lips nervously, "I..I kind of got caught by my dad while I was having sex."

Y/n widens her eyes in pure utter shock, "What the hell ? Tessa ! With whom though ?"

Tessa sighs "Eunwoo."

"I...I don't understand. Eunwoo ? But I thought you both just did it once. Why am I missing so much of your life ?" Y/n throws her hands up in the air and feels her head trying to make sense of whatever that was happening.

Tessa finishes her burger quickly, "You were already busy with so many things so I didn't want to burden you with all this. You knowing this won't change anything."

Y/n looks at her in surprise, " What is that supposed to mean ? I have always tried be there for you. Besides that's not the point Tessa, the point is that you never deemed it important to tell me. You thought that this would not matter to me at all. That is not true."

"Honestly ? Yes. I thought like that. What can you do to possible change this?" Tessa shrugs.

Y/n scoffs, "Tessa, I am so done with you. I mean of course I can't change things but I can lessen your burden by listening to your worries."

Tessa sighs heavily, "Look I am really sorry. I didn't mean to lash out on you. I am just stressed right now."

Y/n nods, "Okay. I am sorry if I made you feel any less important."

Tessa comes forward to hug Y/n and they both smile during that. They both hadn't had a moment like this in months, it felt good. Tessa pulls back to look at Y/n, "You're boyfriend is coming. I have to go now, okay ? Have to go see Eunwoo."

"Eunwoo ?" Jungkook frowns, "Can you please tell me why he is avoiding me ?"

Tessa bites her lips as she sees Jungkook come stand beside Y/n, "She'll tell you. Bye."

Jungkook is confused when Tessa runs away and then goes forward to kiss his girlfriend's lips softly making her giggle. Jungkook caresses her waist, "Feeling good ? Any nausea ?"

Y/n rolls her eyes fondly at him, "No. I am fine, Gguk."

"Come lets go home." Jungkook says, her hand secured in his big ones.

Home.

Y/n smiles, "You didn't have to come to pick me up. You already have a lot on your plate and I understand."

Jungkook tuts, "I will always have time for you, cub."

Jungkook's job at the firm has given them just enough to go through with their everyday life. Sooner or later Jungkook has to go back to his boxing academy for the next round and then he'd have to leave this job. They are trying their best to save money because while Jungkook is training the money coming into the house will be zero and with a baby on the way it would be more expensive than ever.
