Chapter 14

"Eat your meals on time. Don't skip them. You have your matches coming up." Y/n says in a hurry as she folds her clothes and puts them in a suitcase as Jungkook entertained their daughter by swaying her.

Y/n glances at Jungkook when he doesn't answer, "Gguk, are you listening to me ?"

"I am. I'll eat on time." Jungkook said with a smile.

Y/n finishes packing and looks at her husband who seemed to put up a brave face but she knows that he is very sad on the inside. She too didn't want to leave her husband but she knew if she fixed all the loose ties with her father, he would help them at times of difficulty. She goes forward to hug him from the back, laying her head on his broad back with a sigh, "I am so sorry for this."

"You don't have to be." Jungkook murmurs, turning around to side hug her.

Y/n buries her face in his chest as he carefully held Eun in the other arm, "Call me everyday."

"I will, cub." Jungkook promises, "Shall I drop you both off ?"

Y/n shook her head, "Its okay. Dad, sent his car to pick us up. You have to be at the training centre soon, right ? Get ready for that."

Though Jungkook feels dejected he nods in agreement.

Namjoon strides across the parking area to reach his car, his hands carrying two heavy bags of groceries. He got to know about Y/n staying at her father's for sometime and wanted to cheer up Jungkook with some alcohol because he sounded really sad over the phone. Namjoon could also not visit him at the training centre today as his schedules were packed with meetings by his parents.

"Namjoon."

He looks back to see a familiar figure coming towards him, he smiles his dimpled smile.

"Tessa, its been a while." Namjoon greets her with a hand shake.

Tessa shrugs, "Last semester exams and all."

Namjoon chuckles, "Its over anyway. I haven't seen you since we got together to celebrate Eun's arrival. How have you been ?"

"Its been going well, I suppose." Tessa said looking at the pavement beneath their feet, "Where are you going ?"

Namjoon raises the grocery bags, "I am heading over to Jungkook's. Since Y/n is staying over at her dad's I thought I should give him some company."

"That's really sweet of you." Tessa smiles.

Namjoon hesitates but then scratches his forehead with his thumb, "Would you like to join ?"

Tessa looked surprised, "Me ? Are you sure ? I mean I wouldn't want to crash your boys night."

"Not at all."

"I am so glad you came along." Jungkook smiles at Tessa who giggles.

"If I knew getting drunk together is this fun, I'd have come sooner." Tessa shakes her head, sporting a pout as she pours more alcohol into her glass.

"She is drunk." Jungkook tells Namjoon who fondly laughs.

Namjoon hides away the bottle of alcohol, "I'll drive her home."

"But her parents will be at home." Jungkook reminds, eating the pork noodles Namjoon brought in big mouthfuls.

Namjoon helps Tessa to the couch, "Should we let her sleep here for today ?"

"That's probably the best. You should also stay over tonight, the sofa can be pulled to a makeshift bed." Jungkook proposes.

"Okay. You should rest." Namjoon ruffles his hairs affectionately.
