"I'm going to check my score, and vote." I said to Geonu and Jungwon who were sitting with me in my bed. "Okay, tell us your score when you know it." Jungwon said and 'winked'. "Was that a wink?" Geonu asked laughing. "I was about to ask the same." I laughed and Jungwon just pouted at our reaction. "Oooo look who gets mad after his poor try of flirting." Geonu said. Both of us widened our eyes. "Wait, that means I'd be third wheeling. Please, stop. I hate third wheeling." Geonu continued. "Okay, no." I said and turned on my heel to leave. "Oooo rejected!" Geonu said again. I didn't need to turn around, to know that he was laughing, which made me laugh.

I entered the room, the screen showed my picture, then my score. I got a 77. A point below the best score. First of all, it is not good enough, and that is not even the worst part, there is someone above me. I would accept it, if we were both in something like 97 and 98, no wait I would've hated that more because I was close to 100, but they were closer. Stop thinking, for God's sake! Well it looks that I should discover 78, that way I'll stick to them and learn how they did to stand out. If is Dara unnie or Niki (which I honestly don't think so) then choosing a bigger part is the answer. But if not, I have a lot of work to do.

Now... voting. Oh no. I do not want to vote for any of them. I am competitive, but I've grown to like this environment, even if I've just been here for... 7, wait just seven ? Now, I vote. But for who?

We were chilling on the living room. Iseul, Jungwon, Niki and I. "Hi guys, what you doing?" Someone I wasn't able to hear properly said. "Just chilling Daniel."

November 2017, Los Angeles, California
"Daniel, I'm moving." The girl said scared of what, the boy's reaction was going to be. "What do you mean?" He asked her. "You know... my parents, my siblings, work." She replied to the boy. "Okay, then, what does this mean for us?" He asked the girl once again. "I don't want to keep you waiting. I think this time I'm leaving permanently. I want us to break up. I'm sorry." She told him. "I always thought you never liked me, but you could've just rejected me instead of playing with my feelings. You are a total two faced girl. Honestly I pity your next relationship, they are going to suffer a lot." He said.

"Hayley, are you daydreaming again?" Once again, as if he hadn't done this 100 times before, Jungwon waved his hand in front of my face. "I once had a pet squirrel." The first thing that came to my mind, the first thing I say. "What?" Daniel asked confused but amused at my response. "Noona, did you really had a pet squirrel?" Niki asked excited. "That doesn't sound as a good pet." Iseul said. "It wasn't." I said with my sight lost in the distance. "What was it's name, noona?" Daniel asked. "Quokka." I said remembering him. "Why wasn't it a great pet?" Jungwon asked this time. "He bit my brothers." I said.

"Both of them?" Iseul asked. "You have 2 brothers?" Daniel said. "You have siblings at all?" Niki asked. "I already knew." Jungwon said proudly. "I have 3 siblings. 1 sister, her name is Jenna, well Jiyoung, but her English name is Jenna. My twin brother, Hyunjae, his English name is Harry. And my younger brother, Injae, his English name is Andrew. Where did the A came from? I have no idea." I told them. "Both of your brother's name end in 'jae', and you and your sister's name end in 'young'." Jungwon pointed out.

"How do you know so much?" Niki asked. "Yes, to be honest, I don't know what is Hayley's Korean name." Daniel said. "It's Hayoung." Jungwon said. "You remember so much stuff hyung. You were probably good for school." Niki said. "I have the worst memory in the world." Jungwon said. "Then, you are just interested in Hayley." Iseul said. "Well, now I think Iseul is the smart one." Niki said, and we started laughing.

"We are going to reveal the first contestants to eliminated from the I-land." We were now on the lobby, waiting for the results. "With 12 votes... Lee Youngbin." I feel really bad, Youngbin was one of the contestants who complained about Heeseung's training methods, because he said he knew he was lacking. "11 votes... Daniel." No! We were just chilling some minutes ago. "Ten votes... Jake. 9 votes... Jay." Shit, not Jay. Now, I do have to leave my pride behind, move the hell up, and say 'I'm sorry'. 8 votes... Nicholas. 8 votes... Niki. And finally, 8 votes... Iseul. Not Iseul, come on, Mr. Speaker, you have to be kidding.

Even though I wanted to run and hug Iseul, I knew she would wait for me to say goodbye to her, but Jay wouldn't wait, if I didn't went up to him first and apologize. "Jay, I'm sorry. I should have voted for you, and when you told me how you felt, I shouldn't have taken it so lightly. I'm so sorry." I am honestly sorry. I should've apologized before, he was in all the right of be mad, I could have easily chose him for at least one of the parts he tried out for, but now he is going to the ground. "I'm sorry, I acted really mean with you. I know you did it for Dara." Jay said and then hugged me. "How'd you knew?" I asked him, hugging back, but looking more confused than, my mom when the priest asked her if she said yes to marrying that dude. "I figured." He told me.

Back when they were preparing before Iland 

It was late at night. Another day of practicing for the show had ended. Sunghoon left an hour ago, he had to do some important stuff. Jay and Hayley remained in the practice room. They usually do this after practice. Drink water, talk about random things, and then share their concerns about the show.

"Are you excited we might be a co-ed group?" Jay asked Hayley. "Kind of. Honestly, I know there is going to be, a ridiculous small amount of girls in the show. Guys are going to think we are weak, and then we won't be as confident as them. Probably, fans will agree with the guys' ideas, because usually that is how it goes and then hate on us. And if we do make it, fans felt so bad for us, they might voted for us out of pity." Hayley told him sincerely. "Wow, I didn't thought you thought this way." Jay replied

"Oh God! You did payed attention to me when I talked!" I exclaimed happily. "I've always done." Jay said. "What does that even mean?" I asked giggling."I've always paid attention to you Hayley." Jay said again. "Wha-" I was about to ask when Daniel came, and hugged me crying. I hugged him back, but when I was about to talk back to Jay, he was already talking to someone else.

"Iseul!" I ran to hug her, now I was crying. "Come back, will you?" I asked her. "I'll try unnie." She told me, also crying. "I know you will." I replied. "Iseul!!!!" Dara came running towards us, and tackled us into a group hug. "I'm going to miss you so much. Comeback please." Dara said. "I will unnie." Iseul said, smiling through her tears. I never want to see her cry again.

"I-landers who were eliminated, please enter the gate now." Mr. speaker said, and so they did. I waved at Iseul, and then to Jay. He just looked at me and mouthed 'I'll be back' with a small smile in his face. "Are you okay?" Jungwon came closer to me, now I was just pouring tears, but not making any move. "No, not at all." I broke again and he hugged me tight. Safe. That is just the way I feel in his embrace.

Before continuing with the authors note, I want to give all my condolences to everyone who was close to Moonbin, and Arohas. He was a bright person. I wasn't a fan of Astro, but every time I came across something about him he was smiling. Nevertheless we never now what's behind of a smile. One wise person once told me 2 things about those who committed this act. This people are the ones who want to live the most. Also, suicide is the last call for help of a person, who's truly desperate. Seriously, hate on every single human being has to stop. Just before I saw the Moonbin news, I saw a video of Hyunjin getting hate comments through bubble. THIS IS NOT FAIR. Please let's stop hate everyone, if we don't have something good to say, let's keep it to ourselves.
