February 8, 2022, Seoul, South Korea

It's been months since Hayley and Jungwon fought. Hayley has been acting really off. She's always on the girl's room when we don't have schedule. When we do, she doesn't talk to anyone and doesn't take a break. The week before our comeback, Heeseung tried to make her stop overworking during our break, but she wouldn't listen and kept doing it. When we are going to somewhere in our van she's just silent with her headphones on. Also, I don't know if these counts, but she doesn't wear colorful clothes anymore, just black oversized ones.

Today, is Jungwon's birthday, so shit might go down. I hope not.

We were preparing breakfast for Jungwon, all of us were here, except for Hayley, and of course Jungwon. "Hi, Hayley you are up?" I asked her as she came out of the room. I was the one she was more open to, honestly I'm the reason we've been knowing stuff. "What does it seem like I'm doing, Jake?" Hayley answered me and took a protein bar. "You staying? We are doing Jungwon's birthday breakfast." Sunghoon asked. She just went back to her room without answering.

Even though she's being this way, she has been present for Sunghoon's and Niki's birthday morning. But of course the one she fought with was Jungwon.

"Did she bought him a present, Jake?" Jay asked in a whisper. We were opening Jungwon's presents. "I don't think she did." I told Jay. "Well, we are done." Iseul said. "I'm sick." Jungwon said and entered her room, as we followed, prepared if something went down.

"Who do you think you are?" Jungwon went directly in front of Hayley. "What?" She asked unbothered. "You are seriously so fucking obnoxious." Jungwon said. "Wait calm down Jung-" Heeseung said but was cut off by Hayley. "No, let him finish." She said. "You're just a fucking attention seeker, you are just doing this ignoring us shit, so you'll get the fucking attention you want. But guess what? We are all so over it, no one actually cares anymore, Hayley." Jungwon finished.

"First of all, I wasn't the one to just start this silly fight you just started, to get attention." Hayley said. "But you did cause it." Jungwon replied. "Second of all, fuck you, I don't need to give you any explanations." She said, took her hoodie, a pair of shoes and left, closing the door swiftly. "Wait Hayley!" We went behind her but luckily for her the elevator door closed. Then another elevator open revealing a delivery guy.

"Uhm... anyone of you is Yang Jungwon?" He asked. "Me." Jungwon said. "This is sent by Miss Song Hayoung." He gave him the box and left. We all looked with widen eyes to each other. "Open it." Niki said. "Yes, I don't think she'd sent something bad." Sunoo said. He opened it and it was a sweater he had been eyeing for months now. "Wait, weren't you dying for this?" Iseul asked. "Yeah, I was." Jungwon said and ran through the stairs, we followed him, but of course Hayley wasn't there anymore. "Shit." Jungwon whispered.

"Where can she be?" Dara said bouncing her leg up and down desperately. "Should we call Hyunjae oppa?" Iseul asked. "Maybe he'll know hyung." Niki said. Then my phone dinged. "Hey! Hayley texted me." I said and opened the message. "What does it say?" Jungwon asked. "It says, 'oppa, i'm at my mom's.' She's okay." We were relieved. "Ask her when is she coming back." Heeseung said. "Okay." I typed in the text and she immediately saw it. "She says she will be back after dinner." I read the text.

I heard someone open the door, so I figured it was Hayley. "You're here!" I ran to the door to greet her. "Yep, I'm here." She said and entered the living room.

We have learned after this, that Hayley does not like to be hugged. She does like hugging people tho. If she wants a hug, she'll hug you, but don't hug her, she gets uncomfortable. That's why even though I want to hug her, I won't.

"Hey, have you had dinner?" I asked her. "Yeah Jake, thanks for asking." She said. "I'm sorry, too much questions?" I asked. "Yeah..." She said taking a glass of water. "Well, one last question." "Okay." "Do you want to go to the cinema with me tomorrow?" I asked. "What?" I asked and she blushed. "Don't worry, it's not a date, unless you want to. I mean you do have a fake boyfriend." I told her. "Yeah, right. I'd love to." She said. "Well, it's settled then." I said. "Okay." Hayley said and went back into the room.

Okay, I did this because I overheard a conversation of Heeseung and Jay about something bothering Hayley. I want to help her, but I don't see her really trusting someone else, so I'll just try to find out what bothers her by my own. But I don't think she'll tell me where everyone else is, so I'll just take her out for dinner after the movie.

I still remember when I fist met her. She was such a bright person.

October 23 2019, Seoul, South Korea.

I've been training for around a month now. Today we are going to a training camp with trainees from different companies. We are currently going to enter the bus. I hope I can make new friends. I sat on one of the first rows of the vehicle. Eventually almost all of the seats were occupied.

"Shit." A girl said, and that caught my eye, so... "You can seat here." I said. "Really? I thought it was occupied." She said. "Ah right." I took my backpack and put it beside my feet. "Thank you. I'm Hayley." The girl, which name was Hayley said. "Hi, Hayley. I'm Jake." I told her.  "Are you a foreign? Would you be more comfortable with English?" Hayley asked. "Well, honestly yes. I'm from Australia." I told her. "Great, I can speak this."

June 26 2020, South Korea.

I was sitting down with my unit. Iseul was really nervous to see that only guys were entering. Just then a girl entered with her unit. "Wait, isn't that Hayley?" I thought out loud. "You know her oppa?" Iseul asked me. "Yep, she's really nice, nothing to worry about Iseul." I told her. "Hi Hayley!" I waved at her. "Hello Jake!" She waved back with a smile.

August 10 2020, South Korea.

"Hyung, I have to tell you something." Jungwon told Geonu. I didn't meant to eavesdrop, but once I heard Hayley's name I stayed. "Hayley, and Jay kissed. What am I going to do now?" Jungwon asked him sadly. "Are you sure?" Geonu asked him. "Yeah." He said.

We were bidding our goodbye to Geonu. Hayley was next. ""Wait!" Geonu exclaimed, when Hayley was about to let go. "Confess to Jungwon already. Please, you two are obnoxious to watch." I heard Geonu tell her and she just widened her eyes. I got sad about it, but well if Hayley likes Jungwon, let her be happy.

No, this does not mean I like Hayley. No, it does not. Forget it, nah, no never, I will never like my best friend. No uh. Well maybe a little bit, but just a little, I won't say anything to her though. Tomorrow's hangout is just for her help. I just can't stand seeing her this way. She's to precious to me to see her being this way.
