Dara had been training for 6 months now. And even though she's getting progressively better, her experience with her members wasn't. They were never mean to her, but they were really problematic with each other. Which caused her to be uncomfortable most of the time. That's why she decided to audition for another company. Secretly.
Her next choice of company was Source Music. Why? She's also a Buddy. She wanted to audition to be in her faves company. So she did. She's been waiting for the results for about a month now. She didn't care if SM was better, she just wanted to get out of that toxic environment.
"Jinri, did you take my bra?" "Which one?" "The pink one." "I did." Another trainee barged in their conversation. "Why the fuck did you grab my stuff, Hwayoung? You bitch give it back." "I took it because it doesn't fit you Minchae. You don't have the boobs to fill it up." Hwayoung told Minchae and you could see how Jinri was holding Minchae back from hitting Hwayoung.
"You asked for it bitch." Minchae freed herself from Jinri's grip and ran to hit Hwayoung. She started beating her up. Dara ran to the scene to separate them, while other trainees ran to help too.
There were 7 trainees in total. Minchae and Jinri were best friends. They were really bossy, but if you didn't got in their way they were harmless. Hwayoung, seemed to have history with them. She's always just saying stuff at Minchae, and Jinri will always back her up. The rest of the trainees are friends, and Dara sometimes hangs out with them, but she's still too awkward with them.
Dara held Minchae with the help of Jinri and another trainee. While Hwayoung was being held by the other two. "That's it. I'm reporting you guys." Nari, one of the girls with more sense of leadership said and went out the dorm. Dara just sat back down, while Hwayoung and Minchae were in a staring competition. They were both bleeding badly. The girls decided to take them to the hospital.

As another fight was about to break in, Dara just went outside. She was sick and tired of their childlessness. Her phone lighted up, and a mail notification appeared. She opened without much thought, then she realized it was a Source Music mail. She choked on air, and looked at it. She was accepted once again.
She ran back to her dorm. She started to pack her stuff. She had to go to report herself at the main office, but she wanted to be ready in case she was free.

She left the dorm peacefully, without anyone fighting. Turns out the girls really liked her, but since she is quiet and calm they never knew how to approach her. She entered the company were she was given her schedule and a key to the dorm.
She entered it, which was way smaller than the last one, but it was okay. She looked for any other trainees. There were none. She looked for a free bed, and ther it was the only tidy one. She started to accommodate her stuff and she heard the door open. There were the rest of the trainees.
"Hi, I'm Linsy. You must be the new trainee." A girl with blonde hair said. She was Korean her eyes made it show. "Hi, I'm Nayoung." Another girl said. "I'm Minji. Nice to meet you." The last girl said and she waved smiling at all of them.
"We're the ones currently leaving in here. But due to the latest audition we were told new trainees will also live in here." "Oh, okay, that's nice to know." "So any hobbies?" "I used to play basketball, I'm pretty good if I may add." Dara said and the girls smiled.
"Well, we should play sometime. I'm good at it too." Nayoung said. "We'll see who's better." Dara said and winked, for some reason she felt more comfortable with this girls in two minutes, than she had done with the others in six months.
"We're going for fried chicken, you want some?" Minji offered. "Actually, I'd love to have some." Dara said and smiled.

The girls had met another one of their fellow trainees, Jisoo. The sat on the living room floor eating their chicken. Actively talking about nothing at all, but it was fun, and Dara enjoyed it. Past experiences, memories with other trainees, tips on how to do something better, and people you really shouldn't mess with.
Nayoung, Linsy and Minji kindly giving their advices to their newly found teammates. The other girls talking about their old companies. The both came from big three companies, and of course everyone knew their facilities had to be bigger, newer, and more comfortable, but both of them seemed really good with the idea of training in here.
"Have you guys ever seen Gfriend?" Dara shyly asked, not wanting them to think the only reason she joined was because of her seniors. "Oh! Are you a Buddy? I'm also one." Nayoung said. "Answering your question, we have and that was so cool." Linsy said. "Oh my God! That's so cool!" Dara answered.
"Now, talking seriously, I want to tell you guys that I really liked you. We litteraly met just hours ago, but if you hadn't passed my vibe check by now, I'd probably wouldn't be saying this. I want us to raise our glasses and toast to the hope of debuting together." Minji raised her glass and the rest copied her.
Everyone raised their glasses and looked at each other with soft smiles. Dara could feel the warmness spreading through her heart as she finally felt like she belonged. Yes, she had friends before training, but a part of her always felt that her introverted personality separated them from her.
They had always been super active, talking, running away, striking up conversations with strangers, and felt like she was just bound to run after them and listen to their talk. She felt like the only person like that in the world, but hearing this girls' stories made her realize she wasn't alone. There were more like her, and they we're there for her.
They clinked their glasses, and with smiles almost making their cheeks explode they said in unison: "For our debut!"

i constantly feel like dara, even though my friends do the most to not make me feel left out, i can't keep up with them, bc we're completely different. i chased my friends ever since i was a kid, but rn i'm sick of it and understand that my friends like me if i run after them or don't. my constant overthinking won't stop anyways, but doing what i want instead of what they do makes me feel better.
