The truck blows a loud horn which wakes me up from a deep sleep. I rub my eyes and see my uncle behind the wheel with his 5 year old daughter,Micha beside him fast asleep. My parents died when I was 7 so I live with my uncle,I don't actually live with him, he is a truck driver and is always on the move but this year when I am 16 we will stop moving and stay at a house, something I have always dreamt of but not something o wish to have, not now.
He wants me to go to school and have 'a normal life ' I don't know what he means by that, always on the move is normal for me but I was raised not to argue with authority because they know what is best for me which is sometimes annoying. I just want to stay here because if I am here I don't have to face a reality that I'm an orphan and no one knows me. I don't stay somewhere for long for someone to recognise me.
"Addison, where would you love to stay?" My uncle said. Micha waking up.
"Anywhere uncle William" I replied.
" Why don't we ask Micha" uncle William said.
"Micha, were would you like to stay?" I said.
"London!"she responded happily.
"We are in America." I said.
"But I want to go to London" Micha said.
"Uncle William, lets go to Texas" I said.
"You want to go back" Uncle William said.
"Yes!"I said.
Texas is my hometown, it was were my parents died. I am going back there to feel like my parents are still around and maybe no one there will remember the tragic event. My life as another person is coming to an end, I have to go back and be Addison McCarthy, the girl who has a tragic story.
Yep, I'm doomed.
