chapter 14

It's a miracle that I am doing so well in school with all these problems. Sorry about that you probably want to hear what my friends and I have come up with. We found out that Richard lives in one of Lucy's estate houses, he lives in one out of the seventy houses.

Mandy came up with the idea of asking Lucy but Carla says her mom has a privacy policy and therefore can not give us any information. I have a feeling that policy came out when Richard moved in. We planned on breaking into Lucy's office but I said we are trying to catch a criminal not become one, they got angry at me. I came up with the idea of going door to door looking for Richard, since we have seen a picture of him we can identify him. They did not agree, they said it was a waste of time. 

So here we are trying to come up with a suitable plan that won't lead us into prison. I am still too young. There is a school carnival to raise funds for the orphanage, we planned on using that to draw Richard out.

"Addison! Carla! Amanda! Good of you to join us" Mrs. Reed said.

"Sorry we're late" I said.

"Get to your station" Mrs. Reed commanded.

We hurried to the dung tank. If I were to wait for hours for a man who may not come then I have to have some fun and what more than watching a man enter the water over and over again. Cruel I know. And double fun, it's Lucas that is being dung, that annoying guy I met the first the back to school. What's wrong with me? I'm kind and sweet, Carla is really having an effect on me.

"Addison, how are you? Would you want to exchange places with me? This is my punishment which I know you would enjoy" Lucas said. He was punished for placing a pin cushion on the teacher's chair. Idiot. 

"I don't think so, Lucas, maybe next time" I said with a wide grin on my face.

Carla and Mandy laugh behind me making me laugh to. Lucas snarled. 

"Taylor is looking for you by the rose booth" Mandy whispered into my ears.

"Leaving so soon?" Lucas asked.

"Don't worry, my friends would take good care of you" I smiled.

I go to the rose booth and Taylor stood there with a rose in his hand.

"I heard you were torturing Lucas" Taylor said.

"Hey to you too" I said. He kisses me. When we break away he places a rose in my hair.

"Don't you have to pay for that?" I say.

"It's okay, I'm paying" Taylor said and I kissed him again.

"I have to go back" I said.

"Okay, see you later" Taylor said.

I go back to the booth and wait, watching Lucas being dung. 

"Is that him?" Carla asked after hours of waiting.

I look at where she pointed and there in a black jeans and a white shirt was Richard.

"I'll go and talk to him" I said.

I went towards him and I was consumed by anger.

"Have we meet before?" Richard asked drawing me out of my thoughts.

"I don't think so" I said.

"Richard Donovan" He said.

"You are supposed to be in hidden yet you tell me your real name" I said.

"You said you didn't know" Richard said

"Wrong, I said we haven't meet before but I do know you. I take a very keen interest in what goes on in Texas" I said.

"I was told you were back. To avenge your parents, no doubt" Richard said.

"I will not rest until you are rotting in jail" I said

"That is what your mom said to me-" he came close to me. And in my ears he whispered, " before I killed her"

I clenched my fits at my side turning my knuckles white.

"I have an effect on you" Richard stated.

I watch him walk away. 

"Are you okay?" Mandy asked.

"Yeah" I said.

Carla followed Richard all the way to his house. Now we know where he lives and he just admitted to killing my parents. He will surely go to jail

Boring? I think it is. Sorry. I'll try to make the next chapter interesting
