I cleared my throat before pouring out a question. "Wanna play hooky?"
As soon as the words left my mouth, his eyes lit up. "Yes." He extended his hand for me to take
I laughed, "We can stop pretending now." He tilted his head, his lips adorning a gentle smile, hand still stretched out for me to take. Shaking my head, I accepted it.
On our way towards the entrance, we avoided looking at each other. I pretended not to notice how the tips of his ears turned red.
I saw Aric standing at the gate with the car keys. When our eyes met, he greeted me with a slight bow. I acknowledged him with a nod. Aidan took the keys from him and walked towards his car in the parking space nearby.
His black Maybach waited for us in its full glory. After we settled, he asked me cautiously, "So where to, ma'am?"
Instead of replying, I simply put my address in the navigation, "Here, sir."
Our ride to my place was silent but comfortable. When we reached my apartment complex, I expected him to frown or ask me questions as to why we were there. On receiving none, my eyes darted at his face and noticed it remained expressionless.
"You know where I live", I affirmed because it wasn't a question. He gave me a single nod, "I know everything about my sister's friends. Plus, I dropped her off at yours a few times." That made sense. He wouldn't specifically look for me.
The devil scoffed, murmuring, 'Broski, now that's called delusion.'
"... Mhm." The car stopped in front of the entrance. He swiftly got off the vehicle and jogged to my side. Opening the door, he extended his hand to me. I took it as naturally as possible and led him towards the entrance.
Chris, the security guard in the lobby, looked at me in complete shock.
I didn't know if it was because, for the first time, I brought a man home or because the man in question was Aidan Dev Sai.
Politely smiling at his astonishment, I entered the building and walked straight towards the elevators, our hands still tangled together. I never tried to wriggle out of his hold, nor did he let my hand loose. It felt nice holding hands with him.
Reaching my apartment door, he left my hand so I could open the door,
"Turn around", I mumbled, and he did without asking questions.
Smiling, I entered the code and opened the door, "Welcome to my home, sweet home."
Not lying when I say the guy was quick to remove his shoes and make himself home.
Whenever I asked Rudra to remove his shoes before entering the apartment, he used to mock me, "What century do you live in?"
Gratefully Adian called me before I could zone out,
"So, what's the plan?"
Moving towards the kitchen, I elaborated, "Well, first we'll have lunch, then— " pausing; I turned to him. My eyes were probably sparkling with stars of excitement because he leaned forward, full attention on me,"—Amusement Park."
"That—" he quickly looked at his clothes and noticed his suit wasn't the best fit for the outing I had planned, "Don't worry, I have a few spare ones, I will lend you."
A few men's casual clothing pieces that Isra had designed and left here.
Her parents never approved of her fashion kink, as they called it. So to prevent them from 'accidentally' finding out that she hasn't given up on her 'kink', she converted a guest room in my apartment into her office.
