Forever Yours, Ada.

-Chapter 5-

Aidan's POV

It felt like a long time had passed, I wiped my teary eyes 'No, this won't do! I can't be weak in front of Ada. Urgh, I want to be someone she can rely on.' shaking my head. I held her hand carefully once again and told her everything I wanted to say to her all this time. I didn't care if she was listening or not. The warmth from her hands was encouraging me to go ahead and let my heart out.

"What have you done to yourself? Why do you always be so reckless? You didn't even realise that someone out here was giving you his all! His every-fuckung-thing!! And what did you do?  you feigned ignorance about it till that day. And then suddenly outcasted all the people who cared about you from your life. I wanted to resent you at that time, but alas, I have been umm... invested in you yeah, so invested in you that I can't even hate you. And you know that we will never give up on you right? You have to know that Ada. We people are always with you, in whatever we do. So just please I beg you don't be so harsh on me, on us, and most of all Please don't be so harsh on yourself. I want you to know that you are safe! We won't let anything happen to you! I will fight the world for you baby. I know I told oldie- no I mean Nannu that I will let you go if you choose someone else... Again. But I want you to know that I will not give up this time. I will make sure you love me this time! I will make sure we have our happy ending this time!"

There I said that I don't know what will happen in the future but I am ready for any obstacle we might face. I don't think I will be able to back off this time.

Just as I was putting her hand back and getting up from the stool, her hold tightened, and then suddenly the machine attached to her started beeping fast. I looked at her and she was having trouble breathing. It took me a second to comprehend what was happening. It would be alright to say I was baffled. I immediately pressed the emergency button and the nurses and doctors came running within seconds.

I was still holding her hand when they ushered me out of the room. Aric rushed to my side hearing all the commotion. He looked at me wide-eyed. He escorted me to the room next to hers, which was supposed to be my room and made me sit on the bed. I was blindly following him. He was saying something but I was not paying attention to anything. He went to the cabinet thing in there and was rampaging, trying to find something. He came back with wet wipes(?) I looked at him confused. 'What was he trying to do?' He sat down in front of me and started wiping my face scowling as he did that. It was then I realised I was crying.

"Sai! Get your fuckung self together!" He yelled at me. Wait- why are you screaming in my face? I snatched the wipe from his hand and swatted his hand off, shot him a glare and within a few blinks, he was away. "No one raises their voice at me Aric..." I reminded him, sniffing. "But that always works Sai." I knew he was barely holding his laugh in and looked at him dead. He cleared his throat with a mocking scrunch on his face. "I mean Sorry for yelling at you Sir." 

I let out a frustrated sigh and buried my face in my hands. He was right, I couldn't let my emotions take over the best of me. Aric carefully came and sat beside me. And I can't understand why the heck I am crying thank Merlin there aren't others here.

"I know what you are thinking but please you need to stay strong if you want to fight for her, fight with her and Sai, you know it the best, don't you?"

 I sighed again nodding at him. "I am going to ask the nurse what is happening out there, you stay here for some time get to calm down, yeah calm down and then come out." He stood up already walking towards the door. I stayed there for a few seconds contemplating whether to go after Aric or not, so I decided to go with the latter.
