(Karl POV)

Thank god -- or the Universe or whatever's controlling everything, if there is a something -- that Alex is here, otherwise I... you know what I don't know what the "otherwise" is. He's made staying home alone more bearable.

On the 22nd, we went Christmas shopping. I helped reccomend him some things for the others.

On the 23rd, everyone was off school, and we all went to the mall for lunch and more shopping, but that didn't last long before going to Dream's house to play video games. And we got more of Becca's cookies!

Now it's 3 pm on the 24th. There are gifts scattered around under the tree in the corner, from all of us to everyone else. Tommy, Ranboo and Tubbo are playing Game of Life in the living room while Nick, Alex, and I watch Home Alone 2. The others should be here soon. Hopefully.

The sex might be too wild to bother at the moment.

Ranboo suddenly lets out a gasp. "Yes!" they exclaim. "I'm getting married!"

"Oh my god! Congratulations!" Tubbo says.

"You fucking prick, you're beating me!" Tommy shouts. I take it that he doesn't handle losing well.

His shouting only gets louder as Ranboo slides a blue peg in beside his own blue one (as they were starting, they were getting very mad that there wasn't a purple one or a yellow one or a black one for people who were under the non-binary umbrella). Tubbo already has two blue pegs in his car, and he got yelled at too. My bet Tommy does the same, though. Just 'cause he can.

The doorbell rings, and I stand up. Nick whines as his arm falls to the couch, and I shoot him a flirty smirk over my shoulder as I head out of the room. I hurry to the front door to open it, and Dream and George spill inside, laughing and flirting.

Why didn't you just walk in? I sign.

George -- laughing -- shrugs. "Forgot we could."

"No, no, you did it just because you knew Karl would answer," Dream corrects him, tugging off his shoes. "You told me, you knew he and Sapnap would be cuddling, and you're ever determined to bug them both."

George scoffs as he slides a big bag over towards the tree. Somehow it stays upright. "False," he retaliates.

I narrow my eyes at him. Glad to see you have such faith in my relationship, I sign.

"Oh, I do," George tells me, marching over to the stairs leading down to the living room. He smiles impishly at me just before he disappears from view. "I just like annoying you two."

I roll my eyes and follow him, and Dream is quick to do the same. George has planted himself firmly on Nick's other side, thankfully leaving space in between him and Alex for me. I sit there, Nick immediately draping his arm around my shoulders.

Dream gives George a look that says both I can't stand you and I'm literally so in love with you at the same time. The only reason it isn't only the second one -- because that's the look he always gives George -- is because there's no room for Dream next to him.

"Georgie," he whines. "Where am I gonna sit?"

George gives him a smile that just tells us he knows Dream will do anything he says. Because Dream is a simp like that. "The floor," he says, patting the ede of the couch right in front of him.

Dream makes a face and moves like he's going to do just that, but as the last second, fakes it out and drapes himself on top of all of us. His feet are in Alex's lap, and his head is in George's.
