Hayley's POV
10:34am I walked over to Mikey who was in his cradle swing. I bent down and started talking to him and making funny faces. He has changed so much in this 6 weeks, everyone says he looks just like me, but the one thing I've noticed about him is that he has his daddy's big brown eyes. "Who's a handsome boy" I repeated two or three times whilst making different facial expressions. I noticed a massive smile appeared on Mikey's face "CHAD! CHAD GET IN HERE!" I yelled with excitement. "What's wrong" he said as he came in the room "come here" I said. He came over just in time to see little Mikey's first official smile "oh my god this is amazing" he said with joy. I picked up mikey and faced him towards me "who's a clever boy" I said in a high pitched mommy voice. He smiled again and let out a sweet cooing sound "well he definitely has your smile" Chad said as he placed his hand on my hip."Do you wanna go somewhere for breakfast?" He asked "oohh yeah, ihop?" I said with a wink "you read my mind" he said as he leaned down to kiss me. I pressed my fingers against his lips, stopping him from kissing me "not in front of the baby" I teased. "Dang it" he said as he kissed Mikey on the forehead and took him from my arms.
I put on my denim jacked and my black converse "you ready babe?" I yelled up the stairs "yeah just getting him in his car seat" he yelled back. He came down the stairs carrying Mikey in his car seat, he opened the door and we left. I got in the car whilst Chad was fitting the car seat in the back, he then hopped in next to me and started to drive. Soon we arrived at ihop and got out of the car, I got Mikey out of his car seat and Chad got his stroller. I put him in the stroller and we went in and sat at a table. We just talked and laughed about random stuff "I can still remember the night you told me you thought you might be pregnant" he laughed "yeah and at first you thought I was joking even though we planned it" I said laughing even harder. "Even when you bought that pregnancy test I thought it was a prank" he said with a chuckle. "Seriously though the day you told me I was going to be a dad was the best day of my life. I love you" he said softly "I love you too" I replied. Soon a waitress came over to us "are you guys ready to order?" she asked "yeah 2 large stacks of bacon pancakes and 2 coffee's please" I said. "Oh my goodness" the waitress said as she look in the stroller "who is this" she asked. "This is our little Mikey" I said with a smile "you guys are talented baby makers" she chuckled which made Chad and I laugh. She walked off to get our food, I got Mikey out of his stroller and sat him on my lap. He was kicking his legs around and looked up at Chad who was making funny faces. A huge smile appeared on Mikey's face which made me giggle "is daddy funny" I chuckled. A really loud cooing noise escapes Mikey's lips "woah did you make that noise" Chad chuckled. "Why is he making that face?" Chad asked "Rachel said that some noises he makes may suprise or shock him" I said. Soon the waitress arrived with our food, I was so hungry that I devoured my pancakes in seconds. "Your not pregnant again are you?" Chad teased "um...well..actully..I-..yes" I said with a serious look on my face, Chad's face dropped "just kidding hahahha your face was a picture" I said in hysterics. "Hayles don't do that, you scared me so much."
9:34pm I walked into the living room to Chad "he's asleep" I said with relief as I collapsed next to him on the couch. "Finally" he breathed, I cuddled into him "I'm so tired" I whined. He held me close and kissed me passionately "I'm going to bed" I said as I got up "me too" he said as he followed me to our bed room.
2:00AM I was awoken by soft cries I sat up and walked over to Mikey's cradle "dinner time huh?" I said quietly, I picked him up gently and went down stairs. I lifted up Chad's baggy H20 top I was wearing and quided his mouth to my breast. He immediately started sucking "slow down tiger" I chuckled, I turned on the TV then Alf joined me on the couch. He started sniffing Mikey then licked his head.
3:15 AM I must have fallen asleep. I looked down at Mikey, who was crying for another boob. I swiched him to the other side and started waching grown ups even though it was already half way through. Once he had finished he wouldn't stop crying it was 3:30 for Pete sake "shhh shhh." His cries just got louder and louder I checked his diaper but it was bone dry. I stood up and started rocking him and singing him a sweet lullaby. It was now 4:02 AM. He finally stopped crying but he wasn't asleep, I felt like I was gonna collapse so I went back upstairs. "You are hard work Mister" I said as I put him back in his crib. I dragged my feet over to my bed and got in trying not to wake Chad. After a long night, I finally drifted off to sleep.
