"Shows during the weekends and photo shoots during the week days but only in New York. If you don't like it, then you just lost the only model keeping you in business."
I slam down my phone, making Sophie jump slightly before she continues to curl my hair.
I've been working on lessening the amount of work I do for the past two weeks but that's also two weeks without seeing Jaxon.
I miss him.
I want to be able to stay friends with him and not being able to see him, is driving me crazy. I want to know how he feels, what he's doing but then I just end up in a spiral of bad thoughts.
"Calm down, Karlie. We'll figure it out." Journey reassures, rubbing my shoulder.
"Can you help me with this?" I ask, standing out of my chair.
I change into a pink nude bra and underwear set before putting on a sheer robe and pink fluffy heels.
"Alright, don't fall, don't forget to smile, blow a kiss, and don't fall. I believe in you Karlie." She says, fluffing my hair before I stand beside the stage manager.
"Okay, 3, 2, 1. Go, Karlie."
I put a smile on my face, raising my hands when I'm in sight of the crowd. Hearing them cry out in front of me.

"Karlie, they've agreed."I smile before jumping onto Journey and squeezing her.
"This is amazing." I exclaim before going into my kitchen to get a water bottle.
"So, you're doing this for him?" Journey asks, hesitantly.
"Not all of it but mostly." I say, shrugging.
"I hope you know what you're doing because this can backfire and it can end really bad. Like 'end of your career' bad." She says, grimacing.
"I know but if it does, I can go back to school. I'm a smart girl." I say with a bright smile.
It's true. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA. Probably, one of my greatest achievements. That place was straight hell.
"I never said you weren't." She mumbles, shaking her head as she walks away.

"Your name?""Karlie Cora." I say, smiling as I peak my head slightly out of my car window. The guard dude looks down the list in his clipboard.
"There's no Karlie Cora on the list, back up and leave."
I furrow my eyebrows before looking at the gate in front of my car. He didn't put me on the list and here I am, minimizing the amount of shows I do for him.
"Listen, I know Jaxon or well, your Don." I snort at the last part. "But anyways he knows me."
"If you're not on the list, you can't go in." Guard dude grits through his teeth.
