"I want my dog." I say, glaring at the wall.

"He'll be back soon." Jaxon tells me as he washes my hair.

Jaxon decide to take my dog to some trainer after only a week of having him. He let Zorror get comfortable in the house before taking him but that wasn't long enough and I miss him.

He is right, though. Zorror will be back by Saturday afternoon so he'll be at the show with me because I want him too.

I huff, looking at him with narrowed eyes. I keep my face angry even though, he smiles, focusing on the hands in my hair.

"You're so beautiful." He murmurs, making me press my lips together to conceal my smile.

"Colton! There!" I yell, pointing at the spot.

I've spent a lot of time, energy, and money on this project for a dear friend of mine and believe it or not, but it's really hard to get a bunch of adults to listen to me.

A perfect example as to why I want my scary dog but a scary boyfriend works fine too, I guess.

Morgan was a friend from my childhood, she spent her middle school years creating designs and she reached out to get some help to promote her clothing line.

"Karlie, we've been working on this for hours. I think, it's time for a break." Regan groans.

I roll my eyes but nod. I look around for Jaxon but the one time I want him, he's no where to be found.

"You seem stressed." Colton says, standing beside me as I flip the pages of Morgan's book. She wrote down and drew how she wanted the show.

"That's because I am." I reply shortly, glancing at him. He kind of reminds me of a Ken doll. The blonde hair, combed over with too much gel and hairspray. Dark blue eyes with bright white teeth, perfectly straight. Weirdly perfect skin.

I've been in a few shows with him. He's the basic female's version of perfect and he knows it, it makes him cocky. Annoyingly cocky like if I could, I'd push him down some stairs and laugh at his scream.

I've been spending too much time with Jaxon.

"Go take your break, Colton." I say, sternly, not looking away from the binder. He's peering over my shoulder and it's creeping me out.

"It's seems you need a break more than we do." He says and it's almost as if I can hear his smirk. I want to unhear it.

I'm just grumpy because I'm hungry and my feet hurt and I can't find Jaxon and I want my dog.

"This is my break and you're ruining it." I snap, turning my head towards him slightly as if bearing my teeth towards him.

"You seem hangry, you wanna get some food?" Colton offers.

I slam true binder close before I hear the familiar deep bark, making me spin towards the double doors.

"Zorror." I say, pouting as I take a seat on the ground while Zorror runs towards me. I cup his head in my hands as place kisses all over his face.
