"Jaxon, what the fuck is this?" Karlie asks harshly but breathless.
"A ring." I tell sarcastically but after our activities, I'm a little breathless as well but it is a ring. A Petite Micropavé, 1.5 karat, white gold, diamond ring.
"I can see that but what the fuck is this?" She repeats with shock.
I sit up, grimacing at her wince when I pulled out of her. I always feel like ass when I see her wincing because of me.
I sit up, leaning my back against the bed while pulling Karlie onto my lap as she continues to stare at the ring in the box in shock. At least, I'm hoping it's shock.
"It can be anything you want." I tell her, taking the box from her to pull the ring out. "An engagement ring to promise, that in the next couple of months we will be married," I pause, sliding the finger onto her ring finger as she continues to stare with her jaw slacked. "Or a promise ring, that I will marry you in the next year." I continue.
"But if you choose for it to be an engagement ring then I'll have to ask properly." I add, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
Her blue eyes are wide in surprise as her mouth stays slightly open, her cheeks are flushed and her hair is a little messy but, damn, she's never been so perfect.
What am I kidding? She's always perfect.
"Jaxon, are you being serious?" She asks, glancing at the ring that sits sensationally on her finger.
"I wouldn't joke about this. This is us, our plan, our future. Baby, you are the air I breathe and the gravitational pull that forces me to the ground. Without you, I'd be lost in a black hole."
I bend my neck so I could see her face as she looks down at the ring with teary eyes and trembling chin.
"You are mine and I am yours. I used to never believe in anything but that was before you. That was before you became my own type of religion that I worship and kiss the ground you've walked on." I continue.
Her head snaps up as she takes short breathes as she tries to calm herself.
"I love you, Karlie."
"I love you, Jaxon. Ask me." She says quickly and I chuckle slightly because her words almost pushed together into one.
"Ask you what?" I tease slightly.
"Ask me, Jaxon." She whines, she'd throw up her hands but they are currently clutching onto my shoulders for dear life.
"Will you marry me, Karlie Elizabeth Cora?"
A smile reaches my face as she nods rapidly before throwing herself at me completely. I laugh slightly as I hear her sniffle a little.
"What was that? I couldn't hear you." I joke, nearly cringing at my attempt.
"Don't be an ass." She hits my shoulder slightly. "I'll marry you." She says softly, she presses her lips against mine before looking back at her hand.
"Thank you, baby." I tell her, pushing her hair back.
"For what?" She asks.
"For being mine."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Karlie is still crying.She looks at her hand then her eyes tear up and she starts crying and hugging me, telling how much she loves me and how I can get all the free naked fashion shows I want.
"How do you still have water to cry, my love?" I ask as Karlie shoulders shake in my hold and the wet tears stain my chest.
"I don't know." She exclaims childishly, earning a smile of my own.
She holds her face in her hands as she groans and fall face first on the bed away from me. She's still completely bare as the day she was born, letting her curves lay perfectly against our soft mattress.
"Baby, we've got to get dressed, dinner will be ready soon and we don't have enough time for another round." I tell her, picking her up by her waist and taking her to our shower.
"Ah, dinner." She gasps, basically jumping out of my arms and rushing around the bathroom. She washes her hair and body quickly before getting out and leaving me standing there a little confused. I sigh before washing my hair and body.
Wrapping a towel around my hips, I already see Karlie standing in front of the mirror with a her hair already dried and in a large, complicated braid and her makeup finished. She's already in her long sleeved red dress that stops just below her ass.
She glances up at me as she puts on a pair of ear rings that I got for her today, along with the tennis necklace and her engagement ring.
Engagement ring.
I never thought that this is something that would happen. I never personalized my personal life, I never wanted someone who I'd have worry about and constantly have to deal with, but I'm glad I found Karlie. God knows what I'd be like without her.
I walk behind her, holding her hips with my hands as I put my chest against her back and tucking my head into her neck, leaving a trail of soft kisses.
"Jaxon, you're wet." She whines, fixing the ring on her hand.
"Later you'll be just as wet as earlier." I promise, feeling her shudder and breathe out slowly.
"Go get dress before we're the last ones down there again." She laughs, pushing her ass back to push me off of her.
I let my hand fall down on her ass, listening to her yelp as I walk away. Karlie has already laid out my clothes and I go straight to it.
A maroon dress shirt and a pair of black slacks with my dress shoes and a black belt.
I'm fixing my cuffs when Karlie walks out. I hold out my hand for her, leading her to the dining room.
"Ugh." Karlie groans when she sees Kane and Journey with there arms wrapped around each other.
"Nobody says anything when you do it." Journey says, not looking away from Kane with a smile on her face.
Karlie's eyebrows furrow before she spots Logan and walks towards him. I shake my head before walking to the head of the table. Since when did my friends leave me?
I look towards Karlie when I hear her squealing along with a shriek from Logan. Logan is holding Karlie's left hand, talking a million miles a minute as Karlie smiles and nods.
My lips twitch upward as I nod my head to the right of me when I make eye contact with Karlie. She nods and brings Logan with her.
"Congratulations, man." Logan claps my shoulders before sitting beside Karlie.
"What?" Journey asks, finally looking away from Kane long enough to hear Logan and to see Karlie smiling wildly.
"Jaxon proposed." Karlie says, shrugging nonchalantly but still smiling.
"Aw, let me see."
Karlie raises her hand, flashing her ring. I knew I made the right decision. Karlie being this happy encourages me to keep her this happy, to always keep that type of smile on her face.
