"I really don't understand why you're doing something for Christmas. You never do these things." Kane's voice echos from my phone.
He's right though. I never did things for holidays but that was before Karlie and that was before I knew how much she loved holidays.
"It doesn't matter, Kane. You and Logan have to be here tonight." I tell him sternly. We've been on the phone for maybe five minutes and I'm already annoyed.
"Why?" Logan asks.
I sigh because I've already been over this with them. "Karlie has planned for this Christmas and she wants you guys there. You are going to be here tonight, whether I have to hunt you down myself." I threaten.
"Damn, she's got him wrapped around her finger." I hear Logan mumble.
"We'll be there." Kane says before I hang up the phone.
Karlie is loosing her damn mind.
She's been all over the house with decorations. There's a small Christmas tree in the guest bathroom at the very back of this place and little white lights hanging in the halls from front to back, even the front yard has Santa in his sleigh and all of his reindeers.
From what I've put together with Karlie's childhood, it wasn't very put together so I let her live out her dreams in anyway she wants.
"Jaxon, I need your help." Karlie pokes her head into my office before leaving the door open while walking away.
I follow shortly afterwards, seeing her standing in front of the mantle above the fireplace with her hands on her hips and her head tilted.
"What is it, my love?" I ask, wrapping my arms around her while standing behind her.
"We don't have any photos of us around the house." She says sadly.
"I have photos of you in every room." I say softly, kissing the back of her head, making her look up at me.
"But I want photos of us together."
I sigh before looking back at the mantle. I don't do many photos. Just the few that have been taken by paparazzi or Karlie trying to be sneaky.
"You have all of our photos, get them printed and I'll get the frames." I tell her, smiling from her face lighting up.
"Yay!"

"We are so cute." She says softly, fixing one of the frames."I've never been softer." I mumble, hanging up the lights she asked to me to put up.
"Jaxon!" She laughs with wide eyes. I couldn't help but crack a smile of my own, stepping away from the lights.
"What time is it? Why aren't they here yet? Did you call them?" She rambles, looking at me with worry evident in her face. Fuck, I hate when she's worrying.
