* Since it is the last day of the year, here's an update. Enjoy and Wish all of a very Happy New Year. Hope you have a wonderful 2023. With this year being filled with so many ups and downs, it feels nice to step into the new year. And also, with Nakuul leaving BALH2, it is a bittersweet feeling, so I turned back to writing Shivika. "Maa" Annika ran into the house to see Pinky and the other ladies of the family sitting in the hall. She was surprised to see Bhavya and
Gauri also settled on the couches.

"Heya Gauri and Bhavya. How are the both of you?" Apparently both the ladies have struck a friendship with each other as well as with the other family members.

"We are fine bhabhi. How is bhaiya?" Gauri enquired as Annika crashed on the seat beside Pinky and kept her head tiredly on her mother-in-law's shoulder.

"He is fine. Almost recovered. Ab toh zakhm bhi 99% heal ho chuki hai. Thanks to you also"

"Yeh toh mera kaam tha. And Om told me how important Shivaay bhaiya is to him, Rudra, you and the whole family. So, it was all the more important for him to be fine. I am glad he is fine now"

Annika smiled looking at Pinky.

"I am also happy that both my sons found so genuine, true and honest girls. The ones who love their families" Janvi admired her sons' girlfriends.

Pinky also nodded in agreement.

"I remember how nervous Om and Rudy were when they had dropped home to inform us that they planned on proposing the both of you. It was so funny. Om was stuttering and Rudra didn't even want to look into Shivaay's eyes. Pata nahi kyun itna dar rahe they" She chuckled.

"Oh! I didn't know they are even scared of Shivaay bhaiya" Bhavya said.

"They are not. They are just shy as they couldn't understand how to tell their elder brother that they are in love and want to propose to their women" Annika chuckled.

"Apparently, Shivaay bhaiya also played along and acted strict. Rudra almost fainted" Bhavya recounted the story her boyfriend had told her.

"But maan bhi toh gaye na"

"Yeah Gauri, but Shivaay shouldn't have teased them so much. He made them so nervous for a whole of 20 minutes. Aisa dikha raha tha that he is against both matches when he already was aware how much Rudra and Om loved these girls. I mean jo ladkiyan bas kuch dino mein humare beto ko paagal kar sakti hai and unke dil mein jagah bana sakti hai, woh toh khaas hongi hi" Pinky praised both the girls.

"Woh sab chodo bhabhi. Show us the ring" Bhavya asked excitedly.

"See this" Annika showed off her finger where the silver ring glistened.

"Waah. This is so beautiful. It so suits your personality" Gauri admired.

"Really Annika. Bahot sundar hai" Pinky kept her hand on Annika's head to bless her.

"Thank you maa. Here, see Shivaay's ring" She took out her phone to show them the selfie they had clicked with their rings.

"Shivaay kitna cute lag raha hai na"

"Offo Pinky. He is a fully grown adult now. Look at him. He is so handsome and mature and yet you call him cute. Shivaay ko pata chalega toh gussa karega"

"Arre Jethaniji. He is my son. However big he may be, hai toh mera chota sa baccha hi"

"Fine" Janvi surrendered. "Anyway, you are saying the truth only. The ring for Shivaay also is too classy. He looks nice with it"
