Chapter 55 No Ultimate Moves

A/n: Now I know we've got a couple hero costume designs, however this is the episode where Deku and a few others get their costumes changed. So if someone wants to design a hero costume I'll happily post it.

Uraraka's POV

I woke up in the dorm room that the school provided for us students. I went to sit up, but was blocked by something. Y/n was lying on top of me, sleeping peacefully. "Y/n? What are you doing here?" I asked, gently shaking her awake. She slowly woke up and looked up at me. "Morning. How are you, sweetie?" I asked. 

"Morning mama, I'm sorry I snuck in here without you knowing." Y/n said.

"Did you have a bad dream?" I asked. She nodded, moving to my side and letting me sit up. "Want me to help?" I asked. She looked at me, a little confused, before I leaned over and kissed her forehead. "Mama's have the powers to make bad dreams go away with their kisses." I said. She smiled and hugged me as tight as she could. "Thank you, mama." Y/n said. I returned her hug before picking her up. I grabbed a couple of towels for the two of us before heading to the showers and bathrooms. Momo and Tsu were up and taking a shower. "Morning, you two." I said.

"Morning Uraraka. How was sleeping in the dorm room?" Momo asked.

"Good, but a little fox snuck into my room because of a bad dream." I said. I set Y/n down on a chair before taking her clothes off. She started waking up some more, looking around. "We're in the showers, sweetie. You just need a shower." I said. She sleepily nodded while I started the water. Once it was at a pleasant temperature, I let Y/n step in so she could clean herself off while I did the same for myself in a different shower. "Mama, will you help me?" Y/n asked. I looked over at her to see what she needed help with. "What do you need help with?" I asked.

"Washing my hair." She said. I smiled and nodded before rinsing her hair before scrubbing it with some shampoo. Y/n's tails started waving back and forth and she was clearly happy about me scrubbing her hair. "Need your tails and ears done?" I asked.

"Yes, please." She said. I gently washed her ears and tails before heading back and doing my hair. Once we were done, I helped dried her off before getting her into her pajamas again. "Let's go get you changed." I said.

Y/n's POV

Mama led me back to my dorm room so I could get changed. Once I was in my room I sat down at my desk looking at the journal that Tokoyami gave me. I pulled out a pencil and started writing down how I was feeling after being kidnapped, rescued, and dealing with the emotions of it. As I was finishing up writing I felt something run down my cheek. I reached up and felt that it was a tear before I heard a knock on my dorm room door. "It's open." I called, closing the journal. The door opened and papa walked into my room. "Morning." Papa said. 

"Morning. You going downstairs to get food?" I asked. 

"Yeah, wanna come?" Papa asked. I nodded and followed him downstairs. We ate before heading back up and getting ready for school. Mama helped me get ready making sure my bow was tied properly and my uniform was clean. When we got to school mr Aizawa explained that we'd be focusing on getting our provisional licenses. Today we were going to be working on ultimate moves. We changed into our hero costumes and headed to Gym Gamma. The teachers explained what was going on with the gym and how we'd be focusing on our quirks and powering them up. Ectoplasm walked up to me after making clones for everyone else to train with. "Well Y/n, I'm sorry to say, but you don't have much training in ultimate moves that we can improve on. So you've got two options, continue your studies or improve the martial art skills you gained while at your internship." Ectoplasm said.

"But who do I train with?" I asked.

"Well you can train with me. We'll divide our time between training and doing your studies." Ectoplasm said. I nodded as we headed to an area away from everyone else. For about half the day we trained and honed my martial art skills before focusing on my studies. After training for the first day papa came and asked if I wanted to visit the support department of the school since he was heading there. "Sure." I said. He held his hand out for me to hold. I grabbed it before we walked to the support department where Power Loader was working. When we got there I heard something in the room, but wasn't sure what. "Alright. Let's head in." Papa said reaching for the door. 

"Deku! Y/n!" Mama called, waving at us. I turned to see her and Ida coming down the hallway to see them before feeling something behind me. I rushed away from the door before an explosion went off and I covered my ears as they rang slightly. "Y/n!" Mama said, running up to me. I was shaking a little as mama hugged me. "It's okay. Look at me." Mama said. I looked at her as she smiled. "Good girl, you're safe here." Mama said. I nodded before looking back at what happened seeing a different girl on top of papa. Papa freaked out while mama just stared at them. We walked inside and papa asked about adjusting his costume while Mei just started showing things off and put papa in a suit which ended up hurting him. I was still a little freaked out, but calming down faster and easier then the last few days. Ida asked for a few things, but Mei put a couple machines on his arms before he flew up into the ceiling. After that we headed back to the dorms for the day and got some dinner. I wrote in the journal again talking about my feelings with what happened today when the explosion went off. I tried sleeping by myself, but had another bad dream before I got up and headed to mama's room. I laid down next to her before feeling the blanket pulled over myself. "Good night sweetie." Mama said. I nodded and fell asleep.
