Y/n's POV

After a quick snack for myself so I could keep training, I joined mama with her training and had her helping me learn how to use the clones that I could now make. After training a bit more, everyone was gathering together while talking about the upcoming fight that was going to happen. Papa was still talking about it like he was the only one going to fight before Ida hit him on the head. "You do mean 'we,' right?" Ida asked. Papa turned and smiled at Ida. "Seriously, Midoriya." Kirishima said. Papa looked around at everyone before stopping and looking at me. "Of course. By the way, I wanted to get your opinion. Is it okay if I walk around now?" Papa asked, looking at Ida.

"That should be fine now. With Uraraka's speech fresh on everyone's minds, the hero course students and evacuees are getting along pretty well now." Ida explained. I looked at mama who was blushing from the embarrassment of being seen by everyone and her speech. "It just isn't fair. It seems like every time we've got All for One on the ropes, he's the one that gets the last laugh." Denki said. Papa walked over before patting my head. "Let's go for a walk." Papa said. I nodded as papa took my head as we headed out for a walk. As we were walking around, Hagakure came running up to us before explaining that the traitor was Aoyama. Papa and I looked at her a little confused before she led us into the woods. As we got closer to where she said Aoyama was, papa stopped Hagakure before motioning for me to follow him. As papa stepped forward, two adults turned back to see us gasping as they looked back. Aoyama was holding his head in his hands while on his knees before he looked up seeing us. "I uh... ran into Hagakure. She said that the traitor was..." Papa started.

"What are you talking about? How absurd. The girl must've misheard us." The woman accused.

"Of course it's you two. Midoriya, Y/n." Aoyama said, looking at us with tears running down his face.

"Aoyama. Let's talk." Papa said.

"Stop it!" Aoyama shouted, cutting papa off.

"Listen! It's no accident that I'm here. I could tell you were upset. You were the only one who looked sad. So I came looking for you." Papa said. I was a little stunned to hear that papa was looking for Aoyama, but I thought about it before realizing that Aoyama had been avoiding most of the class and papa especially since he had gotten back. "USJ and the training camp..." Aoyama started.

"Yuga don't!" The woman shouted.

"I led them to us both times. Midoriya, Y/n, it's true. I am a revolting villain." Aoyama said. We just stared at Aoyama as he looked at us. "Yuga!" The woman shouted.

"Run!" The man shouted. They both hugged Aoyama before starting to run. "Wait!" Papa shouted. He chased them before I followed behind papa. As the three were running from us, I saw Aoyama pull his arms away from the adults before turning to face us. "I couldn't stand it!" Aoyama shouted, getting ready to fire his naval laser.

"Aoyama! Please don't do this!" Papa shouted.

"I was filled with despair!" Aoyama shouted. Aoyama prepared to fire his laser before I saw the lightning around papa activate. As papa prepared to block the attack, I made my two solid clones before having them chase after the adults. Aoyama's attack was coming towards us before Hagakure jumped in front of us and redirected the laser so it'd avoid us. "My body refracts light. Aoyama, we all could've died. The entire country's falling apart all around us and you sat in class like you weren't involved! How could you sleep at night in the same dorm as us? How could you look any of us in the eyes? Well? Explain yourself!" Hagakure shouted. Aoyama just screamed before the adults charged towards him. My clones stopped the adults by pinning them against the ground so they couldn't get away while papa used Black Whip to contain Aoyama. "Aoyama. Hagakure's freed you. Do you see that? You don't have to hurt anybody else. It's over. So stand down, stop fighting, please. We'll work this out." Papa begged. After that, we took Aoyama and his parents to the school building before the rest of Class 1-A joined us. "Let's get this straight. He must've received the quirk from All For One about ten years ago. Since that point, he and his family have been forced to act as pawns against their will. Physically, he seems fine. At least he wasn't rigged to self-destruct as the same way as Nagant was." Tsukauchi explained.

"I never thought it would be a student." Present Mic said.

"I'm sorry, but I must ask you kids to give us the room." Principal Nezu said.

"Like we'd walk away from them." Shoto said.

"It doesn't make any sense. If Hagakure hadn't stumbled on you today, what would you have done next?" Ojiro asked.

"I don't believe it." Momo added.

"Yeah, man! Say it isn't true!" Kirishima shouted.

"Did he brainwash you or something? You must not have known what you were doing." Mineta asked.

"Two hero course students born quirkless. What a thought." Kacchan said.

"We're still trying to restore a state of order, so it's imperative that you talk. Tell us what you've learned about All For One. Don't leave out a single detail out." Tsukauchi demanded.

"We don't know anything useful. We did whatever we were told. If we didn't, he would kill us. If we lied to him, he'd kill us. Our choice was life or death." Aoyama's dad explained.

"He threatened you?" Tsukauchi asked.

"It wasn't just a threat. He showed us what happened to those who didn't follow his wishes. Anybody who ran to the police was murdered soon after betraying him. There wasn't a way out. Wherever you go, he will follow. You will die. It is an inevitable fact. Our son never knew the particulars of what he planned to do. All For One only told him to lie low and avoid suspicion. We're to blame, not Yuga." Aoyama's dad answered.

"My classmates. All of you could've died because of me. And yet, I smiled and laughed like we were friends because I wanted us to be. When I found out Midoriya used to be quirkless like me and that he knew he'd have to stand against All For One, my heart ached at how miserable I was. I was disgusted with myself. I couldn't even bring myself to look at Y/n since she reminded me so much of Midoriya. But wallowing in my misery instead of worry about him. I'm rotten to the core. There's no denying it. If you want to know the truth, I'm a villain through and through." Aoyama said.

"I don't believe that! Why did you try to save Kacchan and Tokoyami at the training camp, huh? What about the message for me? Is that something All For One told you to do too? Of course not! That night was a desperate cry for help, and it totally went over my head. I mean... Look at you, you're bawling right now. Crying over yourself, but it's obviously not because you failed to do what All For One wanted. I know a hero who didn't give him everything, either. He used her, but she stayed true to herself, to her heart. The problem was he crushed her spirit." Papa shouted.

"Young Midoriya." Uncle Might said, looking back at papa.

"Making mistakes or committing a crime doesn't mean you have to be a villain forever. So I want you to take my hand right now, because I promise you, you can still be a hero." Papa said.

"Not so fast, Midoriya. Sansa, gag the kid, we're taking him in. Save the hand holding for later. It's a tough situation, but it doesn't erase the fact that he helped All For One. Besides, we're only assuming he's safe because he hasn't exploded. We can't say for sure that what happened to Nagant won't happen to him. We shouldn't let him speak another word until we can get him checked out and cleared at central hospital." Tsukauchi explained. I heard papa's breath shake for a moment as he looked down at the floor. I walked over before grabbing onto his hand and looking up at him. "Mister and Missus Aoyama, one last thing. Why didn't you tell All For One we were going to attack Kimino?" Tsukauchi asked.

"We had no way of reaching out to him ourselves. He is in control of that, too. We have to wait for him to get in touch with us. And each time, the contact information is different." Mister Aoyama explained.

"So if you were ever caught, then you'd be useless to us. Of course." Tsukauchi said, accepting the answer.

"Detective. We still have no idea where All For One is, but think the board has changed." Papa said. I heard Denki gasp as he realized what papa was meaning. "Wait, hold up. Do we now have a way of forcing them to fight on our terms?" Denki asked.

"He's right." Mineta added.

"When you look at it that way, it's given us the upper hand. It's possible that Aoyama is the only person in the world with the power to trick All For One."Momo said. Papa nodded as he looked at everyone. "Aoyama, I'll say it one more time. I promise you, you too can be a hero." Papa said. Aoyama looked at us, still crying over what papa had said, clearly happy to be a hero.
