Chapter 97

A/n: So I'm skipping the christmas part of episode 101 and moving into episode 102. I plan to do a christmas part once it's actually christmas.

Y/n's POV

After the mock interviews, before going back to class to finish the day. A few days pass before mr Aizawa announced that our work studies would be starting up again soon. Everyone questioned if papa and I would be going back to Nighteye's agency. "We called them, but Centipeder says they're too busy to take on work studies." Papa explained. I nodded, a little disappointed that we couldn't return to them. After asking us, a few people turned to Kacchan and asked him about him going back to Best Jeanist for his work studies. As papa, Kacchan and I were cleaning up after dinner, Todoroki came up to us. "Hey, Bakugo, Midoriya, Y/n. If none of the choices you liked were open for work studies, how about you come with me? Come with me and work under Endeavor." Shoto suggested.

When New Year's came, papa asked if I wanted to visit Grandma if we could. I nodded before we got permission to go, so long as a pro hero accompanied us. It was New Year's eve and the three of us were sitting in front of the TV watching as the bell rang. While we were watching a New Year's broadcast and enjoying some oranges while papa was talking about what happened during our class vs. class tournament. He was talking about how me, mama and Shinso stopped the new quirk that papa had activated by accident. I giggle as I saw grandma have foam coming out of her mouth. "My heart hurts hearing you say those things." Grandma said. She eventually calmed down before taking a drink and letting out a sigh. "Oh, by the way, remember that girl that Y/n and I helped rescue?" Papa asked. Grandma nodded as papa pulled out the letter that Eri had written to him. "She wrote this letter for me. Isn't that cool? She did it while practicing her spelling. Y/n has actually been helping her get caught up to what her current grade level should be. I couldn't help her out as much as I would've liked to, though." Papa said. As papa talked about it, grandma started crying before papa panicked a little. "Grandma, the family under us will think there's a leak up here." I said.

"Ever since you were little, you've been trying to copy All Might. Saying you were going to save people even though you weren't that strong. Even if you got hurt, Y/n's proof that you've started to become what you've always dreamed of. If there's one thought I've had more than any other mother, it's that I'd have to protect my son. That's gone through my head so often, but talking to you like this and seeing Y/n I don't think I'll worry as much anymore." Grandma said. As papa and grandma looked at each other, they started crying a bunch, forcing me to get on top of the table so I didn't get wet from their tears. Once they stopped crying, we went to bed since papa didn't want me up any later than I already was. The next day papa and I went back to UA, Grandma saw us off before telling us to do our best during our work study. When we got back to UA, we stopped by the classroom and picked up our hero costumes before heading out towards the Endeavor agency. When we got out there, Endeavor greeted us before complaining about how he agreed only as a favor to Shoto. He looked down at me before smirking. "You, on the other hand, might have what it takes to be a part of my agency." Endeavor said. I smiled before Shoto told him to stop complaining, before Kacchan pointed out that Endeavor was a jerk. Endeavor looks at Shoto, clearly worried that he's friends with someone like Kacchan. "Thank you for letting us come." I said, bowing a bit to Endeavor. Papa also thanked him while Endeavor just stared at him. We started walking towards the agency building while papa said that it was an honor to work with Endeavor since he was the number one hero.

"Shoto is not me, you said that. And you, you told me not to push my failures onto my son." Endeavor said, looking at papa then at me. He jumped the railing next to the road before activated his quirk. "Sorry about this, but I intend to only look after my son. If you wanna learn then stand back and watch." Endeavor said before taking off. We followed after him asking for instructions before he told us to stand back and watch. There was a villain attacking while we followed after him heading towards the villain. Papa and I were analyzing everything that Endeavor was doing. Endeavor flew into a giant glass orb that was formed by the villain melting it. "You control glass old man? You show great skill why cause so much chaos? I'm afraid I can't let you get away with this." Endeavor said. The villain took off trying to flee before the four of us caught up and tried to stop some people trying to attack Endeavor only for them to be stopped by Hawks. We got the villains over to the police before they took off and Hawks came up to us. Papa started introducing himself like normal. "Yeah. You're the kid that destroys his fingers. I heard about you from Tsukuyomi. Man, I was hoping to get to work with him soon, but not today." Hawks said. He told us about a book before handing one to Endeavor. Endeavor took the book before papa was thinking about checking out the book before Hawks pulled out four extra copies and gave one to each of us before stopping and looking at me. "Oh you're the little kid from Class 1-A. Good to see you're back in the field, I hear you're great with hero work." Hawks said. After that we headed to the actual agnecy building where we met with some of Endeavor's sidekicks. Burin' was one of the side kicks there and told us that we'd have to work extra hard at shining since there were so many sidekicks already. 

Kacchan took it as a challenge before someone called in a new dispatch call as everyone rushed around. Kacchan wanted to work while we waited on Endeavor who was in his office.
