Chapter 115

A/n: Welcome back, readers! I decided it was about time I update this story since season seven has been going on for a bit. I wanted to let you all know that I'm still thinking about this one and my others, but I'm also working on something new in the background. Sadly, it's not fanfiction. However, I'm hoping that when it comes out, you'll all give it a chance and help me continue improving myself and my writing. Oh FYI, I wanted to let you all know that this story has become the second most read story I've written. We're at 181000 reads, my Slime story has surpassed this one by about 26000 reads.

Y/n's POV

It had been two days since papa came home from being out on his own. I had spent almost everyone hour of those two days by his side taking in as much as I could of him in case he left again. "An extension?" Kacchan asked.

"The american pilots managed to extract some very enlightening data during their battle. It confirmed that Shigaraki's body was supposed to be at 100% tomorrow. That's to Star and Stripe. He won't be on his feet for a week. This is her parting gift for us. Strategic delay." Uncle Might said. 

"Her sacrifice bought us time to plan." Papa said.

"When Shigaraki stole New Order, it burned through his body like a poison. We don't know how many quirks he had stockpiled. We believe a good number of them were destroyed by Star's attack." Uncle Might continued.

"Which means we should go after him." Jiro suggested.

"It's likely the best chance we'll get." Momo agreed.

"I agree. We have to make the most of this unexpected delay. Shigaraki and all for one must be defeated. We still have teams working civilian evacuation, but every hero not on search and rescue is out looking for Shigaraki and the league. This set All For One back. There's no telling what his next move will be. His response could be brutal. Whether we find them or they show themselves, this will lead to an all out war. Consider our foes. There's Shigaraki, injured but still capable of mass destruction. All for One, who plots from the shadows. Dabi, resentful mad man who's flames rival Endeavor's. Himiko Toga, the girl who loves to toy with us. At least six near high end Nomu. Members of the liberation front who escaped capture, escaped convicts who continue to sow seeds of chaos at All for One's request." Uncle Might continued.

"And likely enemies we don't know about." Shoji added.

"Yes. There will be more. Meanwhile,Meanwhile, our odds look bleak. The number of heroes we have ready to deploy has been cut in half. I know that Star just died in the line of duty, but in order for you to protect yourselves and those you want to protect throughout the world, you need to use this extension to become as strong as you possible can." Uncle Might finished.

"What the hell do you think we've been doing!" Kacchan shouted. Uncle Might was a little stunned to hear Kacchan shouting at him. "You may not have noticed since you and Deku were off campus so much." Mama started. 

"And even when you were here, your visits were brief." Ida added.

"Ever since we fought in Gunga and Jaku, we've been training intensively. Just like the Pussy Cats taught us to. As much as we can in the dorms anyway." Ojiro said.

"We intend to stand side by side with Midoriya. We'll keep fighting until Shigaraki and the others are defeated." Tokoyami said.

"No mercy." Mina added.

"When we're done here, Kacchan and the other said they'd spar with me. With their help I'll complete One for All..." Papa started.

"What! I didn't say that, you damn nerd! Did those jailbreakers break your eardrums!" Kacchan shouted. I smiled seeing that kacchan and papa were back to their normal ways. "Not this again." Sato said. I started laughing as I saw how papa reacted to being yelled at by Kacchan again. Everyone turned and looked at me as I was laughing and smiling. "It looks like things are finally getting back to normal." Mama said. I realized everyone was looking at me before smiling as well. "Well I guess I do want to see how my new cluster move works against you. If it can take on One for All, I'll be that much closer to obliterating Shigaraki and All for One." Kacchan said.

"We'll keep training." Shoto added.

"Anyone want to beat me up? I'm so down!" Kirishima said.

"Aren't you getting tired of being everyone's punching bag?" Sero asked. Kirishima and everyone were getting excited to start training again, finally helping put this war to an end. Eri walked over, looking at me a little worried. "Will you be joining in on training and fighting?" Eri asked. I looked at her before nodding. "Papa and mama need me to help where I can." I said. Eri just nodded before walking over to the elevator, taking it back to the floor our room was on.
