Chapter 4: A Ginger Haired Loser

You were on house arrest for a few days after that stunt you pulled back at the airport. Jean gave you a long scolding on the way back to the agency. Then you got an even longer scolding from Alice when Jean handed you back to your aunt. Your phone and most of your devices given to you were confiscated and you were told to stay in your room and reflect on what you did. Obviously, you never really even had one simple thought of reflection. You caught up on some sleep anyways.

In all honesty, you found this 'punishment' to be very light. Compared to your punishments in Snezhnaya, this one felt like you weren't even being punished. You broke your phone a lot back when you picked up a lot of fights and your crappy little apartment had this small, old TV that you never really bothered touching since it came with the apartment when you first bought it.

However, the worse part of this aftermath of a punishment was that you would start school.

Alice finally calmed down after a few days and went back to her normal, cheerful self. Of course, she did issue new rules and more harsher punishments which you 'promised' to obey.

Like Alice said before, Albedo was also a student there, being a senior and all that. What's more worse than that was the fact that you had to share classes with that stupid boy band you already forgot about. Their existence was at the back of your mind that you never really took into consideration of them.

Though, you supposed it didn't harm to have some friends to 'rely' on. If anything, you could use them for your plan. You just needed to be cautious of Xiao and maybe that fifth member. He wasn't fully introduced to you, so you weren't sure what he was like.

Kazuha and Aether are okay. Kazuha always looks high though. Aether.. You felt like you've seen him somewhere before, but where? You dismissed the thought with no reason behind it.

It would be funny if they still would consider you as their friend after they just watched you get scolded by their manager. They looked a bit nervous when Jean turned her thunder towards you, their shoulder flinching whenever she raised her voice.

Alice decided to drive you and Albedo to school on your first day. At first, Albedo declined, stating that he wanted to drive his own car, but Alice gave a pout and said he can always dive his car the next day.

"Plus, you would start driving Y/n to school." Alice explained, opening the drivers door as Albedo sat at the passenger seat and you sat at the back.

He turned to Alice, glancing at you for a second before averting his eyes back to his adoptive mother.

"Just get her a.. Actually, never mind."

You rolled your eyes, folding you arms as the car started.

"Oh, make sure to fasten your seatbelt!"

It felt awkward and silent during the car ride. The only thing you could hear was the slightest of volume of the radio and other cars that would pass by. The uniform you wore was uncomfortable, too. It was an okay uniform based on looks, but you couldn't help to feel the bare-ness on your legs. So.. naked. You kept in mind that it would be best to get some sweatpants to switch to.
