Dear, Jane
Thank you for everything. In spite of we only had a little memories shared. I know you're a good person. I know you've been good to my Carl, to your family, you've been good as a friend, as a partner and as a human. You loved God so much that you're so passionate about your faith. I loved that about you. I know that you will go to heaven. You're radical about what you are believing in. No secular music for you, no secular movies, no 'idolatry' as you're saying. I admire you.
Now, you are three months dead, I don't know if you could read this letter because maybe you are already in heaven. I just want you to know. Thank you for giving me your heart.
My heart was almost crushed that day, Jane. And heaven knows how much you are willing to sacrifice your own life just to get the car back in the ground four-wheeled. When we are about to fall. The helpers came. I know. God has a purpose for that.
One of the helpers is your boyfriend, Rhed Victorino. When the car was pulled out, I don't know how I was supposed to see all of those, when I think, I got the biggest hole. Maybe because I've got a strong heart. Or was it just God?
Rhed held you.
Rhed loves you so much.
I can see how painful it is for him. His eyes have darted all over you.
From your bloody red face, up to your cut limbs down below.
I don't know what happened to Carl. All I know is he survived.
It has been a month operation for me. And I'm still finding my way on how to communicate with your heart.
Good thing, when my heart almost gave up, your parents have agreed that they will give your heart to me.
I'm so grateful.
Because of you, I was saved.
Because of you, I am still alive.
It's just weird, the first time I have opened my eyes after when I think the doctor's already said that visitor's are allowed, I saw a familiar man.
Your boyfriend.
I remember the last thing you have said to me, Jane.
"Please tell Rhed, I love him so much. And if I die tonight, please tell him to be happy." And then that's the time when after that, they pulled the car out.
You have been dead on arrival, they said.
I'm sorry.
Thank you again for giving me life.
Sincerly yours,
Alecsa
