Chapter 7

DAMIEN POV

"What? What did you say?" Damien asked with his eyes wide open.

He was wondering if he heard it wrong.

The word that came out of his assistant's mouth literally froze his entire body, and he couldn't think wisely.

"We cannot find Miss Delisha, and she hasn't gone home since the morning."

"She hasn't come home yet?"

Damien asked before looking at the clock hanging on the wall.

The clock shows 3 o'clock in the morning.

If Delisha didn't come home, she would definitely let him know and not just disappear like this.

She isn't the type to make other people worry about her.

Even though he never had a proper conversation with her when they were in their family house, he knew that she always let her mother know if anything came up that made her come home late at night.

She's that type of person. She hates making other people worry or wonder about her whereabouts.

"Yes. And I'm afraid something bad happen to her because she said she would be back before dinner. But it has passed dinner time."

If she said that, then she would definitely come back before dinner.

The fact that she isn't home yet is enough to say that something has happened to her.

"F*ck! Tell all our men to find her. Find her at all costs!" Damien spoke with murderous eyes.

He nodded.

He knows really well that someone will die if they fail to find her.

They need to distance themselves from him until they find Delisha. His anger issues are something they have to avoid.

"Leave it to me, sir. I will summon our man to go look for her."

Damien touched his forehead, trying to calm himself and think.

He tried to call her several times, but no one picked up the phone.

He was worried, so he couldn't stop calling her.

"Damn! It's my fault."

It was a very wrong decision to let Delisha walk around the city alone without sending anyone to guard or protect her.

He knew very well that their family has a lot of enemies, and most of them want to attack Delisha since she is weak.

Of course she isn't a weak woman like those people thought, but the thing is, it would be nonsense if she could handle all of those men if they attacked her all at once.

No matter how strong she is, she's still a woman.

There's always a limit to what she can do and what she cannot do.

She's even more talented than him when they fight, and he always loses to her, but if so many men attack her at the same time, it sounds impossible for her to handle it alone.

It's not like he didn't believe in her, but he was just afraid of something that would happen if she faced something like that.

"No matter where she is, she will always be in danger. Damn!"

That's the reality he knows really well but, is it really impossible for him to keep her safe?

"Delisha..."

And starting that day, everyone was so panicked and trying to look for Delisha, but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't find anything about her.
