Chapter 14

He clenched his fists with a frown as he tried to hold back his anger.

He didn't mean to make Delisha cry, so he was upset with himself for making her cry. His study room was messy, with a broken mirror. His hand was bleeding since he punched the mirror to ease his anger.

The memory of her crying in front of him because she was upset makes him feel bad. It's not a lie that he didn't treat her the way he really wanted.

He wants to treat her as gently as possible, but he can't.

He just keeps wanting to say how much he actually wants to keep her by his side, and that side of him makes Delisha tremble in anger.

Hugo, who opened the door without knocking, widened his eyes as he looked at the messy room.

Ian has never acted like this, so it's hard for him to get used to this kind of attitude from him.

"What happens here?" Hugo asked with disbelief in his eyes.

"I didn't mean to make her cry..." He spoke with a low voice.

"Who? Do you mean Miss Delisha?"

Ian nodded, and Hugo sighed.

He expected that, but he still couldn't understand why he had become like this just because of a woman.

"What did you do to her?"

"She's mad at me because I brought her here." He spoke with a very upset voice.

Hugo shook his head.

"It's reasonable for her to be mad at you."

Ian looked up at him with teary eyes. Wow. If Igito and Aryan see this scene, they will be absolutely terrified.

Ian was a person who had lost all his emotions since he was a kid.

He didn't know how to smile, laugh, or cry. He only knows how to kill people and how to laugh and smile in a sarcastic way.

But this time, those teary eyes didn't look fake at all. It means that it came out of him because he was really sad.

"But I didn't hurt her. I prepare everything she needs and I'll do anything for her."

"You cannot force people to love and accept you."

"Why?"

"Because the more you force them, the more they'll hate you for that."

Hugo knows Ian should understand this.

The moment he went to help him kidnap Delisha, he always thought that this would be a good chance to see what change was going to happen to Ian, but as the time passed, he knew that Ian's unhealthy obsession was starting to rise.

He even made a secret room that was filled with Delisha pictures in his bedroom.

It just shows how obsessed he is with her.

But he didn't realise that he was obsessed with Delisha.

He thought it was just a normal feeling, and he just said that he only wanted to get to know her.

Hugo won't deny the fact that he's crazy. How can he not be crazy when it's clear that he stalks her and always observes everything she does?

But, even though he has that room, he doesn't go there often. He only went there when he missed her and wanted to see her.

Now that she's right in front of him, there's a huge possibility that he will dispose of that room.

"But I didn't force her to love me or anything. I'm just trying to keep her by my side so that I can protect her."
