"The fever was over 39 degrees. Fortunately, it’s down to 38 degrees now, but it’s still dangerous. She needs to be hospitalised for a while."
The boundaries between dreams and reality were blurred.
As if the heat had melted away her sense of reality, she was dizzyingly sinking into something deep.
"I'm glad you brought her to the hospital. I was worried that you might do something crazy to her."
What made her open her eyes at once on such a day was a clear voice that made her wonder if she had heard wrong.
The voice that is similar to her friend, Igito Hans.
'Oh, I’m regaining consciousness.'
Delisha blinked her heavy eyelids slowly and finally closed them again.
On second thought, she wondered if she really heard it wrong. How can she hear his voice when she's clearly in China right now?
Or was he perhaps also in China at this moment?
"I really doubt you. Can you really protect her? If yes, then how can she collapse as soon as you meet her?"
No.
This voice clearly belongs to Hans.
Or is this perhaps a dream?
No, it can't be a dream.
A brutal sound followed the next second.
Although she hadn’t heard it more than a few times, she knew it was the unmistakable sound of a gun loading.
"You don't have to meddle in my business, and I don’t think there’s any reason for you to come directly. You're quite a busy person, aren't you?"
Really… It was too much for anyone to pretend to sleep in such a deadly atmosphere.
When she opened my eyes, she realised where she was.
This is a hospital.
It's not hard to guess that she was in the hospital since she could smell the medicine, which was quite strong.
The question is, did she faint?
Well. She admits that's a stupid question. If she didn't faint, then how would she end up in the hospital?
"I came to see her, why? Do you have any complaints?"
When she opens her eyes, she can see the person who helped her sit on the chair by her side with a serious expression.
She just got the chance to look at him carefully.
Before she just worried about her own self without paying attention to the man who just help her.
He had strong but cold eyes, broad shoulders leaning in a chair, and a stiffened forehead, like he was plotting something, that showed his irritation.
His blue eyes, visible through his black hair, were enough to make people nervous at once.
"Do I look like I have time to complain just because you're here?" The blue-eyed man asked.
"Yes, you did. You have passed all your work to Aryan, so you should have enough time to complain about my being here and ruining your moment."
It was Igito Hans. He's really in China.
As she slightly turned her eyes, she saw Igito Hans standing not far from the bed where she was.
And he was really aiming a gun at the blue-eyed man without any guilty feeling.
They talked as if they'd known each other for more than a year, but the way Igito pointed a gun at him made it look like they were enemies.
