Chapter 4

"Ian."

Hugo calmly walked into his office after knocking on the door.

Ian looked up at his assistant with expectations in his eyes.

"Have you done your job? Do you have the information I want?" he asked.

He nodded and handed over a blue document to Ian without much thought.

"I have been following her for the past two months, and she seems to have converted to Islam after meeting the girl she met after the party that was held before."

Hugo said as he watched Ian flip through the paper and read it seriously.

This image of Ian is so new to him, but he has no choice but to observe him quietly.

There will be a lot of things that will start changing from now on.

And for some reason, Hugo is actually looking forward to the future.

He wonders what will change and what will happen to Ian.

Based on his limited knowledge, Islam does not allow marriage between two people of different religions.

"So you're telling me that she's a Muslim now? That's shocking. I don't expect to get this kind of surprise right after the moment I took interest in women," he said while laughing like a devil.

"What should we do now? It seems that she was going to China with her brother Damien."

"Huh? That damn Damien wants to bring her together with him? Why so sudden? That bastard never has a good relationship with her, isn't it?"

"I also didn't know."

"When will they go to China?"

"If I don't get this information wrong, it should be two days from now."

"Hurm. Then we should be prepared to go to China too. That 'rabbit' is too precious to lose." He said it with a sly smile.

"But what about your job here?"

"Aryan will handle it for me for the time being."

"Wah. You really push all your work onto me, and then you go hunting your favourite prey. That's not fair for me, Ian." Aryan entered his office without knocking on the door.

Ian knows how lazy Aryan is, but he also knows that Aryan can do well.

He's talented and smart.

He's just lazy.

"Just prepare. You will take my place until I get back. I need to hunt my precious 'rabbit' before I can get back to work."

Aryan chuckled at his words.

"So, you like that 'rabbit'?" Aryan asked.

"She's interesting. It might be fun if I get her by my side."

"What are you going to do once you catch that girl?" Aryan asked, curious about what he was going to do once he got her.

"What else? I need to give it special care in order to not let that rabbit escape." Ian said without much thought.

"But she's a human. She will hate the fact that you will be controlling her life."

"Aryan You said too much. It would be my own problem. You don't need to interfere." He said it coldly.

"Fine I won't say anything. You're going to kidnap her and bring her here, right? Or are you going to hide her somewhere else?"

"I'm going to hide her on my island."
