Lime was operating the cameras in security. All was going well, until he heard a slam behind him. He whipped around, grabbing a broom for defense. Black was standing over the vent, tentacles curling and expanding around him. Lime bolted for the exit, only for the door to slam closed. He stood there helplessly as he braced for his fate.

A tentacle slid easily through Lime's stomach, and he crumpled to the ground.
"Easy kill," the impostor slithered. He slid into the vent, head peeking out to check for crewmates coming in. Little did he know, behind the desk, was a little Blue crewmate. They managed to keep quiet and still throughout the whole scene. But they didn't suspect a thing was happening. They were just cleaning the bottom of the desk.

Another crewmate, Pink, walked in, and gasped at the body. The tentacles easily slid through her stomach just as she was about to call for help.

The impostor climbed out of his vent, his mouth opening wide. He took a couple of big sniffs before slowly walking towards the desk, tentacles ready to kill.

He sniffed again. His tentacles began to retreat back into his body, and his impostor mouth disappeared.

Then two crewmates burst in, not hesitating to report both bodies quicker than one could blink. Blue popped up from their spot, happy as can be. Then he looked around and saw the bodies.

While they held the meeting, they didn't want interference from the two maybe-impostors. So they locked them in the strongest chains around, from the deepest pits of lava on Polus. Satisfied, they left Blue and Black chained up in Security.

The thing is, Blue didn't see the impostor. Blue didn't think that Black, the helpless-looking crewmate sitting on the desk could possibly be an impostor. He just looked so innocent.

Black sighed, annoyed at being caught. And now he was stuck with a pesky little crewmate! He didn't even know that he was an impostor. Black was so hungry for crewmates, but if he sent out a tentacle, or killed Blue, they'd instantly vote him off the ship.

"I can't believe they didn't let us interfere in the meeting. Ridiculous," Black muttered.

Blue was still a little hopeful.
"Heh, we're in a bad situation, huh?" Blue said, trying to strike up a conversation. "Don't worry, they'll realize that we're not imposters and we'll get out of here in no time! Because we're both crewmates, right?"

Black was silent.

"Right?" Blue asked, his face dropping to a concerned expression. Just as Black opened up his mouth to give an answer, he heard footsteps padding through the hallway. He clenched his hands, bolting up.
"Oh no. OH NO," he growled, looking around for an escape route. His eyes landed on the vent.

"Hey, listen, Blue. Since we're both... Uh... Crewmates, I know this will be weird. But we're going through the vents.

"But we won't need the vents if we're going to be releas-" Black was already at the vent, and the chain yanked Blue along.

Black quickly opened the vent and called Blue inside. Blue hesitated, the footsteps padding closer. Black yanked Blue into the vent as the doors flew open.
"Where'd they go?" One crewmate's voice cried in dismay. A shadow was cast into the vent as one checked inside the vent. But they were already gone.
