"Me?" Black asked, inhaling a sharp breath of air.
"No, not you, idiot," Cyan replied harshly. "Blue! We're having Blue. Wasn't that obvious?""No offense," Red murmured to Black, "But we need to study you more. You'll die later, so don't get your hopes up."
Black looked at Cyan with a mix of a bold and terrified look in his eyes.
Lime entered after Cyan, wrapping his tentacles back around Black. Red's tentacles loosened a bit, clearly more comfortable with 2 more powerful impostors in the room. Black was obviously more uncomfortable with Cyan and Lime now in the room, but he had given up on squirming. He kept most of his fear internal, but you could still see a nervous look crossing his face.
"Timmmeeee foooorrr INTERROGATION!!" Red shouted excitedly.
I hate that guy, Black thought to himself for the second time that day.
"No, you're wrong," Cyan said, looking over at Red. Red's expression fell. "It isn't ready."Interrogation? Why?
Oh, right. I have a weird crewmate visor.
Plus I helped a crewmate.
Black sighed and looked up towards Cyan's cold, hard gaze. Cyan looked back, narrowing her visor in curiosity at the impostor. She stared for a couple of seconds, before turning around and exiting the room silently. Lime and Red stayed. They sat in awkward silence for a few moments, glancing around the room. Suddenly, Lime quickly extended a tentacle, using the blunt end to knock out Red. Red collapsed to the floor, his tentacles retreating back into the ground. Black quickly glanced back and forth at Red and Lime for a few seconds, Lime with an evil grin plastered on her face. The grin quickly left and was replaced with a friendly smile as Lime looked up at a still-shocked Black.
"Hello," she chimed with a small, friendly smile. "How's you been doing?"
"Uhh--" Black stammered. "Goo- why did you knock out Red?"
"So he doesn't interfere with our conversation, of course," Lime smiled. It seemed friendly, almost inviting; but it gave Black a chill down his spine. He wasn't ready to trust Lime just yet.
"So, did Red happen to tell you anything?" Lime leaned back onto the wall, trying to create a relaxed atmosphere. The tentacles loosened a bit, giving Black some room to breathe.
"No... Why would you think he would tell?" Black lied, his bravery increasing.
"Ah... He's just a bit of a blabberboy."
Black looked away from Lime, back at Reds' unconscious body. He was still crumpled on the floor, twitching. Black looked back at Lime.
"It's clear you want something from me," Black remarked. Lime looked at Black in surprise.
"No, no! I'm just curious. After all, you're quite the odd impostor."
Black raised an eyebrow, but didn't question it any further. He knew Lime was quite a serious impostor, and wouldn't hesitate to kill if needed.
"So... Why do you care for Blue?"
"I don't know!" Black blurted out. He had been holding in a rant for a while. "It just happened I guess? I couldn't kill him and then grew instantly attached."
"Innnnteresting," Lime murmured, looking down at her lap. She stared off, looking at nothing in particular, for a few seconds while Black stared at her. She shook her head quickly to clear it and looked back at Black.
"Did you still have the impostor red visor when you last killed someone?"
"From what I recall, yes."
They conversed for a while longer, Lime asking many personal questions, seeming to be centered around Blue and the Crewmate visor.
Little did they know, from behind them, an unconscious impostor awoke...
