Red continued wrapping the tentacles around Black, wrapping them higher than they had been before, from Blacks mouth to the bottom of his feet. Black was also lifted a little higher into the air. Black noted that Red seemed oddly cautious around him. Was it because if Black escaped, it would only be a one-on-one impostor battle? Black had no idea.

After tying Black up tightly, Red sighed, turning away from Black. They sat in silence for a few minutes.

"Red," Black whispered urgently, just loud enough for Red to hear. "Why did you have to wrap me up so tightly?"

Red sighed, looking up at Black. "This is going to be a long explanation."

Black leaned closer, listening closely. Red didn't make the tentacles push him away.

"She whose name mustn't be spoken, our leader whom you saw earlier, was born on Polus after two impostors sent there fell madly in love."

"Cyan?"

Red nodded. "For the stories sake, I'll call her C. C was... Different. Her parents were very skilled impostors, so she was trained well. Unlike most impostor babies, she was able to keep her mouth hidden. After her parents were ejected, she was taken care of by the crewmates. But she was trained well, and one by one, she killed them all. Even the ones that took care of her.

Black inhaled sharply, thinking of how Blue took care of him. Black never had the guts to kill him.

"Every crewmate she killed, she grew more powerful and skilled. Impostors were more difficult to kill, but whenever she did manage it, she grew in size. That's why she's so big today, and most of the impostors here are just regular sized."

Red paused, looking around for listeners. Then he continued.

"She became very evil. More evil than any impostor you'll ever see. She never hesitates to kill. She always enjoys torturing everyone, including her own subjects. She became the leader of this tribe because no one could stop her."

Black began to feel bad for the impostors. Still, they always recklessly killed innocent crewmates.

"When she saw you, she realized that you were unique. Have you ever noticed that your visor isn't red?"

"That's just me in my crewmate form," Black replied.

"No- it remains cyan in your impostor form, too. It's not supposed to do that."

"Really?" Black was bewildered. He knew it was supposed to stay red in impostor form, but he hadn't noticed it had stayed crewmate color.

That was odd.

"One day," Red continued. "C had a newfound power. She was able to-"

Cyan strode into the room. "Oh Black~" she slithered in a singsong voice. Guess what we're having for dinner tonight!"
