Days had gone by since my detention with Draco. I was still completely unaware of what his actions were attempting to display. After all, we are both at fault here seeing that he might be the encourager, but I also played a role in what had been happening days prior.

It felt as though he was avoiding me entirely, but the cause of his lack of disturbance is rather unknown in my book. During the time spent in the Great Hall with many of my friends, I would feel a surge of cold air blow past me causing the hairs on the back of my neck to stand. This feeling I knew all too well, but I wasn't sure if turning around to look at the boy dressed in green would help the situation.

I kept my eyes forward acknowledging the people around me rather than the boy who I held hatred for but also seemed to leave me wanting more. Whether it be out of fear or curiosity, I hoped that the chain of silence would last longer than it ever had before, wanting to not bring up the subject of the tension swarming us like bees.

The colors of the autumn leaves, yellow, orange, and red, were now beginning to disappear and preparation for the bitter coldness that winter would soon bring. Soon, the ground, trees, and absolutely everything in its path, would be covered in white, pure snow that would bring new outside activities to the youth to distract them from Christmas.

As I was sitting just outside the Castle Grounds noticing these changes that nature is slowly preparing for, I was enjoying the peacefulness of what it means to be alone. There were a few students wandering about in the Castle Grounds, as I stared at the world beyond seeing Hagrid's Hut just down the hill from where I was resting my drained soul.

I truly did love this time of year, when the weather began to grow much cooler and the students of all years had finally settled into a normal routine within their lives.

The longer I sat still and quiet at the edge of the Castle Grounds, I couldn't help but let my thoughts run ramped. Why did Draco pull me into that corridor? Why did Draco talk to me like he did? Why did Draco start messing with me in class? Especially in front of the new professor? Why did I react back to what Draco was doing in class? Why did Draco seek me out in the library? Why did Draco check on me after detention?

With all these questions swirling in my head, I had to force myself to stop. My thoughts were going down a lane I didn't wish to go down just yet. These questions would be important eventually, but for now they need to remain under lock and key. At least until I'm ready for the answers.

While admiring the beautiful scenery, I noticed a creature that was purely recognizable. I immediately noticed it with its bat-like wings, beak of an eagle, and body that appeared horse- like. The creature was gliding and soaring in the air above the rather secluded forest that rested just beyond Hagrid's Hut.

Out of complete and utter curiosity, I decided to head to where the creature was in hopes of having my questions answered. I never bothered to discover it, I only appreciated it's gloriousness from afar, pretending like I never saw them at all.

Once the nature around me grew more and more dense, I knew that I was getting close to the area the creatures were located. I began hearing strange little noises that I assumed were coming from the creatures I was so desperately trying to find.

The closer and closer I came to the area they resided, I looked between the trees in hopes I would be able to spot the beings, but instead I noticed Harry walking to the area I was quickly approaching as well.

"Harry!" I called for him in a whispering type method.

"Aurora? What are you doing all the way out here?" Harry asked me curiously. I got the feeling that he had completely forgotten that I was able to see these things too.
