Early chapter for Fukase's birthday!! The silly :3 happy birthday Fukase :333
Art by i.am.an.oct0pus on Instagram!! (My friend whomst I commissioned to draw this LMFAO)Fukase waved goodbye as Oliver entered his brother's car. He looked over the other cars to see if Arsloid was here yet, only to find a different familiar car with familiar faces beckoning him over. Confused, Fukase stood and walked up to them. Len threw the door open and pulled him inside.
"What the hell!" Fukase yelled. "Are you guys kidnapping me?!"
"Yes." Piko said, helping him sit up.
"We're gonna follow Oliver home!" Flower chirped as if that was the most normal sentence she's ever said. "We already told your brother that he didn't need to pick you up, so don't worry about that!"
"We're STALKING Oliver??" Fukase tried to open the door and jump out, but Flower immediately pressed the lock button. "I want no part in this!"
"We like to call it 'investigating'." Len said slowly. "Besides, if he's normal, then we won't have anything to worry about!"
"You guys are fucked up in the head."
While Fukase continued to bicker with the three idiots he called his friends, Oliver watched their position through the rear view mirror. Hio pulled out of line and started driving off, and the group followed them.
"Fukase and his friends are following us." Oliver said, and Hio glanced over at him.
"Oh, do you want me to stop? Do they want you for something?"
"They would have told me, but I have a hunch on what they're doing." Oliver smiled brightly at Hio. "I may have gotten too silly the other day."
Hio raised a brow. "Oliver..."
"It's fun, okay? I love fucking with people!"
He flicked Oliver on the forehead. "You're gonna get us in trouble again. Go back to eating rocks when you're bored."
Oliver glanced at the rear view mirror again, and they were practically smooching the back of Hio's car. Wow they were not being subtle at all. "I've got a plan to lose them. Go to the market. I'll tell you more when we get there."
"You are messed up, Oliver."
"Thank you!"
Hio pulled into the parking lot as Fukase began to calm down and accept his fate. If Oliver caught them, Fukase was sure he'd find this whole situation very funny. So, maybe there's no harm in participating? Whatever, it's not like he had a say in it or anything.
Flower parked a few spaces down from Oliver and his brother, and she was the first to jump out. She kept her eye on the two as the boys started filing out of the vehicle.
"What about my legs? I get really weak after a school day, you know." Fukase was already feeling the exhaustion weighing on him as he leaned against the car.
"We'll put you in a shopping cart." Len said, patting Fukase's shoulder.
"I think I'd rather just stay in the car."
"Nope." Flower picked him up and threw him over her shoulder. "They're going in now, let's catch up before we lose them."
Being carried around by Flower was super humiliating so he decided to settle for a shopping cart. Neither option was very subtle in "investigating" Oliver, but that was their fault for springing this on Fukase last minute. Delaying their "investigation" seemed much more satisfying to Fukase anyway.
"Look, they're buying milk." Len said, writing it down in a little notepad.
"That's not suspicious!" Fukase barked, and Piko covered his mouth.
"It could be."
Fukase smacked Piko's hands away. "How could buying milk be suspicious??"
"They could be buying milk for a spell." Flower suggested. "Or maybe they're taking it back to their secret cult!"
"Just what are you suggesting about Oliver??"
Despite their best efforts to frame Oliver, he nor his brother did anything weird the whole time they were following them. It didn't take them long to finish shopping and report to the check out area, but Oliver split away from his brother, and the group followed him to the bathroom. They stood a few feet away from the entrance, waiting for him to come out so they can continue their "investigation."
But it soon became suspicious by how long Oliver was taking. Flower ushered Len to go check on him, and Len argued for a few minutes before the whole group decided he'd be the best candidate. He reluctantly entered the bathroom, but he soon came back, a panicked look on his face.
"What happened?" Fukase questioned.
"He's gone."
"What?"
"He's gone."
"Did he escape through a window?" Flower suggested.
"I checked, there were no windows to escape from. And the vents weren't busted in or loose or anything!"
"What the fuck." Piko said. "Did he know we were following him?"
Fukase tuned out their arguing as he thought about Oliver. There was no way they could have missed him walking out, and if Len really was thorough in his search, that means Oliver had no escape routes. Maybe his friends did have a point, but what does it matter?! Oliver was nice to him, and Fukase liked him a lot! Who cares if he's some kind of magician? That's cool!
Fukase was sure, with time, that if Oliver had anything to say to Fukase, he would say it.
They left the market, finding Oliver's brother's car gone from its parking space. Flower announced a failed investigation and drove the boys home.
Meanwhile, Oliver was giggling his ass off as Hio silently drove them home. "They must be so confused! I wish I could've seen their faces!"
Hio couldn't help but crack a smile. "Alright Oliver, you had your fun, would you quit messing with them now?"
"Nope! I think it's only gonna get worse from here." Oliver crossed his legs and sat back against his seat. "Maybe I should get Fukase to come sleep over one day!"
"Oh god, you're gonna traumatize the poor kid."
"Simply the consequences of being my friend."
