(RECAP: After knowing Drew isn't cheating on her, Mary is actually happy. Also Drew dropped the L-bomb...)

THIRTEEN

It was the day of April and Malcolm's wedding. The day Drew and I have been waiting for since April's pre-honeymoon.

We put a lot of time and love into their wedding, and hope they'll love it with all their hearts.

Currently, I was ordering around the wedding planner, while Drew was getting everything in place. It's kind of funny the way everything turned around between us. I mean, mostly for Drew.

For a guy who seemed to hate weddings and love, and me for that matter, has found a way to accept it all. He honestly amazes me and I'm proud of him.

That morning he told me he loved me, I was completely shocked and didn't know what to say or do. Then, I realized he'd been hurt in his past and I knew this wasn't easy for him, which has to make him the bravest man I know. Also, I couldn't deny my love for him, and as cheesy as this sounds, we are kind of living happily ever after.

"Everybody, everybody, the bride needs water! NOW!" yelled one of the groomsmen. April wasn't exactly a bridezilla, but the guys knew better than to mess with a bride on her wedding day.

The dress was on, and the veil was on. It was almost time to go in, and I was there helping April with her smile.

"Should I tilt my head to the right, or left?" she asked.

I smiled, "I think either way is gorgeous."

She smiled a tearful smile, and gave me a tight hug.

The wedding planner walked in knocking on the door uselessly, and said, "Ladies, it's time."

April and I smiled at each other and we headed out of the preparation room. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were all standing in order. I cut to the front to stand next to the best man, or should I say my best man.

Before the doors opened, he planted a little kiss on my forehead since he was a lot taller than me, and we walked through the aisle with smiles on our faces. After we parted to stand in our areas, he still couldn't take his eyes off of me, and it made me blush.

Soon enough, April walked in with a gorgeous, natural smile and lit up when she saw Malcolm doing the same. They were perfect for each other. Supporting each other since they met, it makes sense that they would last for eternity. When they were walking down the aisle, I could tell they were talking about what Drew and I have done with decorating and everything. I saw them smiling, so that was a good sign.

A few minutes later, they came in the room, announced as husband and wife; no longer fianceés.

I didn't notice when, but I felt tears coming down my face after they came in the room, smiling radiantly. April's smile was so contagious, and I probably looked like some idiot grinning like that.

After their long and tearful first dance together, they immediately came up to me and Drew. "Mary, Drew, this place is absolutely gorgeous! I cannot thank you enough!"

She threw her arms around me and Drew, and Malcolm did so too, yelling, "I'm married!!"

Drew, Malcolm, and April disappeared somewhere, and I decided it would be a good time to sit down and practice my toast to the bride and groom.

Being the maid of honor was a lot of pressure, especially when you're the wedding planner also but I don't regret a minute of it.

After being seated for a few brief minutes, it was my time to shine.

I stood up looking at the guests, and smiled.

"Good evening. Most of you don't know me, but I'm Mary Andrews, April's best friend for as long as I can remember," I chuckled. "April was the nice girl in our school. When I was new to the school, she would never leave my side, and always lead me to the right direction if I got lost. April never lost this side to her, because she still guides me today. I remember the day she came over to my house, and told me that her crush, Malcolm asked her out when we were in college," I said, hearing the chuckles throughout the tables. "I always envied the relationship they built together. They are two strong people, who need each other in their lives to be complete. I am so happy for both of you, and wish you nothing but happiness. Love you."

I sat down, and everyone applauded me, and I even earned a hug and kiss from Drew. After hearing myself say those words, I happened to look at Drew differently. At that moment, looking in his eyes, I hoped that I was the one that could fulfill his life.

He softly grabbed my hand and pulled me up. One of my favorite slow songs were playing, and I know Drew knows I love this song.

He swayed me slowly and romantically. Even though the dazzling couple, April and Malcolm, were next to us, I couldn't look anywhere but at Drew.

A while ago, I couldn't imagine liking him, now I cannot imagine hating him. He is so passionate and romantic, it's impossible not to love him. I hope that planning for this wedding will be enough to thank April for letting us be the two to plan her wedding. Without notice, Drew kissed me long and slow, and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

After that kiss, I knew Drew and I would be having a wedding not too long from now.
