It had been a few years since Ran Mouri had last visited Shinichi's home, and as she walked through the door, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over her.

She had always had a special place in her heart for her brother, Conan, and as she looked around at the familiar surroundings, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness.

Her husband, Dr. Araide, noticed the look on her face and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?" he asked, a concerned look in his eyes.

Ran forced a smile, determined not to let her emotions show. "I'm fine," she said. "I just can't help but think about all the good times we had , you know?"

Ran Walked to the door and Ringing the bell.....

As Conan walked to the door, he couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness wash over him. He knew that he had to be careful around, as he didn't want anyone to suspect that he and Ai were living together.

He took a quick peek through the peephole and saw that it was Ran, standing on the doorstep with a friendly smile on her face.

Conan sighed, knowing that he had no choice but to let her in. He quickly turned to Ai, who was sitting on the couch, and gestured for her to hide.

Ai nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. She quickly slipped behind the couch, hoping that Ran wouldn't notice her.

As Conan opened the door, he was greeted by Ran's warm smile. "Hey, Conan," she said. "It's so nice to see you again. How have you been?"

Conan forced a smile, trying to play it cool. "I've been good," he said. "Just keeping busy with school and stuff."

Ran nodded, a curious look in her eyes. "I see," she said. "Well, I won't take up too much of your time. I just wanted to check in and see how you were doing."

Conan nodded, relieved that Ran didn't seem to suspect anything. He knew that he had to be careful around her, but he also didn't want to lie to her.

As they chatted, Ai couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness. She knew that she had to stay hidden until Ran left, and she hoped that Conan would be able to keep up the charade.

As the conversation continued, Ai couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over her. It seemed as though Conan had managed to avoid arousing any suspicion from Ran, and she was grateful for that.

But as the minutes ticked by, Ai began to worry. She knew that she couldn't stay hidden forever, and she didn't want to cause any problems between Conan and Ran.

Just as she was about to step out from behind the couch, Ran suddenly stood up, a smile on her face. "Well, I think it's about time I got going," she said. "I don't want to take up any more of your time, Conan. It was great seeing you again."

Conan nodded, a relieved look on his face. "It was great seeing you too, Ran-Neechan," he said. "Take care of yourself, okay?"

Ran smiled and waved as she made her way to the door, and Conan breathed a sigh of relief as he watched her leave.

As soon as the door closed behind Ran, Ai stepped out from behind the couch, a relieved look on her face. "Thank goodness that's over," she said. "I was starting to get worried that she would never leave."

Conan chuckled, a relieved look on his face. "Me too," he said. "But we made it through. Now let's just hope she doesn't come back anytime soon."

Ai nodded, a smile on her lips. She knew that they had to be careful around Ran, but she also couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness and contentment knowing that she was with Conan.
