*Veronica's POV*

I guess Camila's mom is beginning to develop some trust issues with the city from all of these abnormal disasters that have been happening. If only she and everyone else knew the real cause behind them. They wouldn't even be able to handle it. They have such small minds that can only hold their big ass egos. Luckily for me, they did trust that the school was safe enough for students to stay after school. Since the school year has started Camila has needed to stay home to get some homework done. She didn't think middle school would be this tough.

I for one have somewhat done a good job at keeping my grades up and even get a chance to hang out in the library, with Max! It did feel nice to be alone with him after everything with Camila and the Centaurs. One thing we had to talk about was what happened to my right hand, which required Jake's medical assistance.

"It doesn't look that serious." Jake said, taking a good look at the damage.

"That's what my Camila's dad, family and an actual doctor said." Thankfully, the doctor saw only glass stuck to my palm. No trace of the purple trapper. I just told everyone that I bumped into a mirror. They all believed it.

"What did they say?" Jake let go of it.

"That it will take a few days to heal, put the bandages on it, and will cause some scarring."

I heard Max chuckle. "Damn, your first ever scar as Ultimate."

"And I guess United," I say as I put the light brown wrapping back on my hand.

"Didn't you say two weird things happened that day?" Jake raised a brow.

"What?" Max asked, shocked. I forgot that I told Jake before Max appeared.

"Yeah, um, before I fought with the Centaur I was going to bring out one of my ice weapons, but instead these weird claws appeared." I darted my eyes to my right hand which originally spawned the claws.

"Claws?" Max whispered, confused.

"Yup, like animal ones too," I noted.

"Did it only appear on one hand or both?" Jake asked.

"Uh, Only one. This one." I raised it up.

"Is that the hand you normally spawn the weapons?" He asked.

I nod. "Yeah, most of the time."

"Then it could be awakening." Max mumbles. I looked at him with much confusion.

"What could be awakening?" I asked him, but darted my eyes back and forth to him and Jake who were silent for only a second.

"Your Earthside, Veronica," Jake said. "Which has grown into an animal, and more specifically turns out to be a Tiger."

I stood stunned and just said, "I have always been fond of tigers." Max just quietly chuckled at the fact while Jake was still thinking.

"Remember when we talked about you needing to have multiple powers to be the United?" Jake walked up to the projector.

I nod. "Yeah."

"Before that asshole, Camila had to ruin everything." Max mumbles which I did not argue.

"Well, the Untied's magic history says that it needs more than one power, to be specified as the being. No matter what power. Now you earth abilities of the Tiger has awakened."

"Wait more than one power? Is there a limit?" I curiously asked. If there was, I have a lot more training coming my way.

Jake shook his head. "It doesn't say."
