Chapter 16

I let out a frustrated yell, clutching onto my head out of frustration. I don't want Y/N to die. But I don't to risk making her to turn into a curse either. So what should I do??

-We Have No Choice-

Toge P.O.V

Dr. Shoko walks out of the room, making everyone stands on their feet. "Well?" Itadori said. She turns to look at everyone, before turning to look at me. She looks stressed.

"I'm afraid that we're running out of time. She needs blood as soon as possible... or she won't make it until tonight" she said. I feel my heart tighten in my chest at what she said.

"Y/N told Inumaki-Senpai that she wouldn't survive on human's blood. In other words, she needs curse's blood. But she told us that it might make her turn to a curse again..." Itadori said. Dr. Shoko gives him a solemn look.

"Better decide something... and fast. We don't have much time..." she said. She turns around and walks in again, possibly to make sure Y/N's alright. I clutch my hair and drops on my knees.

"She's your girlfriend, Inumaki-Senpai. You're the one who should make a choice..." Fushiguro said. I turn to look at him and wipe the tears in my eyes. It's not the time to act frustrated. Each seconds we waste means the closer it is for Y/N to death.

I clench my hands into tight fists. "Do you want to take the risk?" Kugisaki said. I turn to look at her and nod my head. "Salmon..." I said. She take a deep breath on nod her head.

"How are we going to get a curse's blood though?" She asked, turning to look at the others. Itadori grins at what she said. "How else? Let's go hunting..." he said. Everyone looks at each other before nodding their heads.

We find a curse wandering around in an abandoned building. "How do we get the curse's blood?" Itadori asked. I place my hands inside my pocket as I stare at the building.

"He's right... we're gonna have to immobilize the curse and extract the blood from it..." Fushiguro said. Everyone nods their heads in agreement. We make our way inside the abandoned building.

"Wait, do curse have blood types?" Itadori asked. Fushiguro punches him on his head. "Ow... why'd you hit me?? I'm just asking!" He said, whining. I roll my eyes at their bickering. We're in an urgent mission. But these two still have time to argue.

I walk deeper into the building, wanting to find the curse as soon as possible so we can get some blood for Y/N. I unzip my collar when I spot something in the distance.

"Stop!" I said. The others quickly pin the curse down as I zip up my collar. Fushiguro and Kugisaki starts to extract the blood from the curse. But we only get one bag. Y/N needs more than that.

"We have to get more... this won't be enough" Itadori said. Everyone nods their heads in agreement. I feel something stronger. My eyes widened along with the others.

'Damn it, at a time like this... we have to come face to face with a special grade curse' I thought to myself, feeling annoyed. I clenched my hands into tight fist. I don't care... we have to defeat this thing so we can get the blood to Y/N.

Everyone get ready to fight the curse. I reach up and
unzip my collar. No matter what... I'm going to fight. My girlfriend's life is on the line. We have to get the blood to her as soon as possible.

The curse lunges forward to attack. "Don't move!" I yelled out. The others quickly attacks it one by one. But it seem to have no effect on the curse. I click my tongue in annoyance.

"I'll handle it... you guys go ahead and find more curse's blood for Y/N" Fushiguro said. We turn our heads to look at him. He looks serious. Everyone are hesitant to leave him to handle it alone. He grows impatience by our lack of reactions.

"Hurry up!! You want to save Y/N, don't you?!" He said. We look at each other and nods our heads. We turn around and runs off deeper into the building to hunt for more curses.

I place my hands on the wall, coughing out blood from my mouth. I can feel my limit coming closer. But I have to do this... for Y/N.

I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head to see Maki. "Take it easy, Toge... we know how much you want to save her. But it won't do you any good if you are hurt" she said.

I let out a sigh and move her hand from my shoulder. I wipe the blood from my mouth and stands straight. I start to walk again, wanting to find more curses so we can get their blood for Y/N.

A couple of curses appears in front of us. I take a battle stance at the sight of them. There's a lot... their bloods should be enough for Y/N. They slowly move towards us.

"Don't move!!" I said. I drop on my knees as I start to breathe heavily. My throat hurts so bad. I look up as my vision starts to get blurrier. I fall on the floor. Please let the blood be enough for Y/N. She needs them in order to survive.

Time-skip

I open my eyes and wince as my throat starts to hurt badly. I lift my hand, holding onto my neck hoping it might somehow ease the pain. I turn my head to the side to see a bottle of throat medicine. I move to sit up and drink it.

I look around, realizing I'm in the infirmary. I turn my head to see Y/N a couple of bed away from where I am. There's a bag of blood near her, connected to her arm with a tube. I let out a sigh of relief, knowing that we've managed to get enough curses blood for Y/N.

I slowly move to stand up and walks over to her. I sit down next to her bed and gently hold her hand. I lift her hand, placing my cheek on the back of her hand. I smile softly to myself as I turn to look at my girl. I stare at her sleeping face. Please be okay, Y/N. You have to get better. You have promised to always be with me... so you can't leave me.
