Hii! *Dodges books thrown at me* *Gets hit by a book Mew teleported above my head* Sorryyyy for not updating. I kinda have a bit of writers block, but I'm working on the next chapter. I wanted to post this today though, so the next chapter will just have to wait! Without further ado, our Christmas Special! (This isn't part of the story, so don't get confused.)
Christmas Special: The Cake-tastrophe
"Where are we going?"
Ash, Pikachu, Mew, Sunshine, Satin, Sparkle, and Ray were walking through the streets of Lumiose City. Sparkle and Ray were invisible to people though, that way they wouldn't attract much attention, what with a trainer walking around with five pokemon (since Mew's already invisible).
"Shopping for Christmas cake!" Mew exclaimed, doing a flip through the air. "Ooh, yummy!" Sunshine said, bouncing on her toes. "Can't you just make cake appear or something with aura?" Satin asked. Ash shook his head. "I can't. It won't taste good." "Why not? You've made food appear." Sparkle said. Ash glanced at the siblings trotting beside him. "I didn't make the food. I just brought it from where I was previously storing it." he replied.
"Huh. You know, that actually makes a lot of sense." Ray said thoughtfully. "Of course! But, I have a question." Pikachu said, looking up at his partner from his place on Ash's shoulder. "Shoot." "Won't it be suspicious buying as much cake as we will?" Pikachu said. Ash nodded. "Yeah. I'll just have to hypnotize the people who see me buying it. I'll teleport it before I hypnotize them, so we won't have to carry it around. We can go to a bunch of different stores too."
"Yeah, but..that's gonna be an awful lot of cake. Do the stores in Lumiose even have enough for everyone?" Satin asked, referring to Ash's other pokemon. "We'll have to go to other regions too." Ash added. "There should be enough out of the eight regions." As he finished, they arrived at a bakery. Ash pushed open the door and entered the shop, before immediately turning tail and exiting. "What?" Sparkle asked, confused. The others shared the same sentiment, all except Pikachu and Mew. "The troublesome group." Pikachu said grimly.
"Oh." "Can't you change your appearance and go back?" Mew asked, and Ash shook his head. "Knowing them, they'll find some way to bother a stranger anyway. We'll just go somewhere else. I really don't feel like dealing with them today." With that, they set off to another bakery in the city.
With The Gang
"Ooh, what about this one?" "Nah, strawberry doesn't taste very good." "How about chocolate?" "We should get two cakes. That way we have a bigger variety."
The gang was spread out around the bakery looking at cakes. They were having a Christmas party, and they were going shopping for the snacks and cake. "Hmm. Good idea." Brock said. Dawn, Misty, Clemont, Bonnie, and Drew wanted a vanilla cakes, while Gary, Max, Brock, Serena, and May wanted chocolate (Paul had said he didn't care). So they got a vanilla cake with frosting filling and a cute Pikachu-by-a-Christmas-tree picture on it, and a chocolate cake with cookie crumble between the layers, and an Eevee-wearing-a-santa-hat picture.
They picked out the cakes and went to pay, all of them pitching inn on the cake they wanted. As they handed over the money, Serena happened to look behind them. She saw the door silently swing closed behind an exiting figure. Blinking, she realized it was their raven-haired classmate. He stopped outside, and Serena watched curiously through the window. His Pikachu looked down at nothing, making a sound. Ash then shook his head and walked off a moment later.
'Huh. I wonder what that was about.'
"And we're all set!"
The gang left the bakery a minute later, Brock and Clemont carrying a bag each. "Now, for decorations!"
