My eyes widen as his fist slams into the ground. I see both their eyes widen in confusion as the ground starts to crack. My breath hitches as Izuku looks up to me, giving a small smile.
My arm reaches forward to grab him but I'm too far away. Before I can start running, it collapsed. His hair rushes behind him as he starts to fall.
"Izuku!"

"Mirko!"
I look up, breaking my trance. I let out a small hum as i get my bearings in check.
"I asked you to give a report?" I recall my memory and give a quick nod.
"Don't worry, I haven't forgotten." I stand up quickly and move to the board, letting out a sigh as I do. "During the last year, my colleagues and I have been tracking down this vigilante, Alecto." I point to the picture on the board, showing a small silhouette standing on top of a building. The figure was in the shadows and it is the only known photo of the vigilante. "If I'm being honest, it's been a complete waste of time. No one has gotten close enough to even get a clear image of the vigilante and he's been around for just over four years. The closest thing to information that we got on him was a rumour about him with some kind of sidekick." The men infront of me let out a sigh as a gruff voice speaks out.
"Alecto has been leaving us something, however." I turn to a man with spiky blonde hair, leaning back in his chair. "Some thumb drives but no one has been able to encrypt them to a point it will be readable." One of the men sit up with an angry expression on his face.
"Well you better get to it Ground Zero. You too Mirko." His anger was evident as both me and Bakugo let out a sigh. This was Kazuo Inamori. A man that invests a lot of money into the police force, a man who also instructs where his money is spent. In this case, it's investigating Alecto. "This vigilante has been parading around, making us look like fools. We haven't had a vigilante like this since Horu. At least we had a common threat that could join us together." I feel my eyes cast down at the mention of Horu.
"We're doing everything we can sir." I feel my voice get slightly more aggressive as a growl escapes my lips. "But you must understand that Alecto, is as elusive as the wind." Another voice speaks out to both of us.
"Let's calm down everyone." I turn to the tired voice to see Commissioner Naomasa. "This isn't the time to turn against each other." I feel myself nod in agreement.
"What do you suggest we do then?" Inamori's voice keeps his angry tone while talking to Naomasa. He lets out a sigh at the question.
"The best course of action is to send more heroes out at night." He scratches his chin as his eyebags seem to deepen. "Mirko, Ground Zero. Would you be able to start working more night shifts?" I feel my eyebrows scrunch in annoyance before giving a reluctant nod. "Thank you both. This meeting is adjourned." I let out a sigh as everyone starts moving out the room. Bakugo stands by my side as Inamori walks up to me.
"You better get a move on. This... thing is causing a lot of pain to a lot of people." A scowl was set on his face as he leaves us both.
"Ignore him. We need to work at our own pace." Bakugo places his hand on my shoulder. "This man... Alecto... he's doing a lot of good. I'm not sure if he needs to be caught." I let out a small grunt.
"It doesn't matter. A lot of money and faith is being pooled into his investigation, we can't fail." I shake my head. "I'll see you later. We're still meeting the class for drinks, right?" He gives me a small nod as he moves for the door.
