Katsuki's POV
What happened?
How did society get to this point?
Everything I saw in that USB drive was circling around my head nonstop. Has everything leading up to this point really been controlled by one group?
"Katsuki!" My attention snaps back to the room as I hear my name. "Is everything alright."
That's right, a board meeting about Alecto. Again. With recent news, I guess they thought it would be important to have one.
"Yeah." I hesitate before continuing. "Just... disappointed that he got away." I feel Rumi's eyes linger on me at my reply as Naomasa gets back to the meeting.
"As I said, we now have a basic report on what he could look like out of his gear. You said he was around 6'4, maybe 6'5." Rumi nods in reply. "What else did you see?"
"He had a muscular build with dark blue eyes. That's the only thing I could see outside of his gear. Too concealed to see any scars or tattoos. Not even hair colour." Her dissatisfaction was evident as she spoke.
"But it's progress. More than we've had in two years."
"But it's not fast enough." Turning my head, I look to the source of the voice. Kazuo Inamori. Who else would it have been. "It's been two years, and this is the first break through?" His hands slam down onto the table as he spoke. "A basic appearance and even after that, it's still too obscure." Naomasa narrows his eyes at him in a small glare.
"If you don't like it, then don't be apart of it. While you're money may be appreciated, it isn't necessary." His eyes stay cold as Inamori back down into his chair. "Must I remind you, even before you were here we had trouble finding even a glimpse of him." I silently thank Naomasa and speak up, wanting to leave.
"Im sorry, but would it be alright if I left early." Naomasa looks at me confused. "I have a meeting with another hero. This isn't the only case I work on." He nods as he thinks it over.
"Go ahead, you already know what is going to be said here." I give a thankful nods and leave for the door.
Watching as the door shuts behind me, I let out a sigh. I need to think. The sun pierces my eyes as I Making my way to the train station and buy a ticket to my home. Musutafu.
A couple hours later, I'm greeted by the city. Covered in a midnight glow. I navigated through the streets like second nature and soon find myself infront of a building. A small warehouse, abandoned for decades.
This was the place Izuku called home.
I push open the door, ignoring the creaking. The hallway that welcomed me was overgrown with vegetation and the paint was peeling off the walls. My feet lightly tap the ground as I walk through the building. Little light entered the building, causing me to heat up my hands. Using my move 'stun grenade' on a small level constantly to produce enough light for me to see.
I soon enter the main room. Most of the room had been emptied by Rumi so things like mattress' and clothing wouldn't go to waste. The only thing left was a desk. Up against the wall, holding up several photos of Izuku and our friends. Rumi kept it here as some kind of memorial.
Every time I came through here, I make sure to clean it up. Making sure nothing was damaged and that it was all still here. After I was down, I took a seat, cross legged on the floor a couple meters away from the desk. A breeze flows through several of the broken windows, causing a chill to run up my back. My hairs stand on edge as I sit still. My eyes were locked onto a photo of both me and Izuku leaving UA, heading home after the day finished. It was sat inside a glass frame. The more I looked into it, I saw something.
