⌠Porto Marinada ⌡

You woke up the next day to find that Fuecoco was trying to pack up everything for you.

"Morning Fuecoco!" You replied

You sat up as the Pokémon happily stared at you.

"I'll help you there buddy." You said

"Fuecoco!" Fuecoco replied

You put some of your stuff in your bag while Fuecoco put the rest.

You unzipped the tent seeing fresh sunlight which Fuecoco quickly began to bask in, Fuecoco absolutely loved the sun.

You began to take down the tent before stuffing it into your bag sloppily, you most likely ripped at least some fabric but you didn't quite care.

"Let's go Fuecoco? Don't wanna miss the train to Porto Marinada." You said

Fuecoco looked at you before you picked him up, Fuecoco loved being held by you but it could definitely become a problem if he did end up evolving.

You and Fuecoco walked towards where a train would stop to pick up people, you were surprised there wasn't anyone waiting alongside you.

"Are you excited?" You asked

"Fuecoco! Fuecoco!" Fuecoco exclaimed

"I am too! I wonder what Pokémon we can catch there." You said

You pulled out your Rotom Phone and took a picture with Fuecoco quickly.

"Look! There's the train!" You pointed out

You held your hat and held Fuecoco with one arm before stepping onto the train that had just stopped in front of you.

You took your seat while holding Fuecoco so he wouldn't run off somewhere.

"We're going to be here for a while, maybe even overnight. We're going to the West Province after all." You informed

Fuecoco looked around curiously seeing a Buizel and trainer, Pawmot and trainer and finally a Sprigatito and trainer. They all looked pretty young and most likely just started their journey with either inherited Pokémon, Pokémon centre Pokémon or already caught Pokémon.

You turned so that Fuecoco could look out the window which made him increasingly happy every time the train went past a perfect sunbathing rock.

A woman came by to offer you and Fuecoco some free food which you happily accepted.

"We're getting some food!" You informed

"Fuecoco!" Fuecoco exclaimed

She brought over the food quickly which was a sandwich and a bowl of some good-looking Pokémon food that Fuecoco would love to eat.

"Thank you!" You smiled

"Anytime! Oh! What a happy Fuecoco! You must be a very good Pokémon trainer and that Fuecoco will most likely become quite the strong Pokémon!" The woman complimented

She walked off leaving you as the most happy person ever from the compliment that you and Fuecoco had just recieved from a complete stranger.

"Hear that Fuecoco? You'll be sure to become a strong Pokémon! I'll help you all the way through it and eventually you can be the strongest in Paldea!" You exclaimed

"Fuecoco!" Fuecoco said

You really wanted Fuecoco to complete his goal in getting stronger one way or another whether he wanted to evolve or not.

"Do you like it?" You asked

"Fuecoco!" Fuecoco responded

Fuecoco finished the dish quickly and you finished your sandwich a little bit after.

The food was taken away right after leaving you and Fuecoco to look outside while the sky set, in the Weat Province it got darker quicker along with the Northern Province of Paldea.

In reality Paldea was pretty big and had a large variety of Pokémon just because of that although it's population in some places was quite small. Mesagoza was where people usually stayed in Paldea since it is the biggest city.

The train finally stopped at your destination so you quickly grabbed Fuecoco and your bag before exiting.

"We'll go find a place to stay for the night." You said

You went towards a forest surrounding a dock, even covered by trees the sound of crashing waves could still be heard.

You got out your tent and set it up, you were getting the hand of the whole tent stuff and camping out despite not being used to sleeping on solid ground.

You were pretty proud of the tent that you had just built since it was way better than the previous one that you had built for you and Fuecoco.

"Fuecoco?" Fuecoco said

"Finished! Take a look! It's more better this time." You smiled

Fuecoco went inside and so did you, it was better since there wasn't random floppy material around the tent, It provided more room this time.

You set Fuecoco's blanket beside him which he quickly made himself comfortable on top of.

"Isn't this nice? We're actually starting our adventure properly!" You smiled

"Fuecoco!" Fuecoco exclaimed

"You'll have a new friend in just a matter of days that we can travel with! I'm thinking we try and go for an Ice Type once we're finished with Porto Marinada." You shared

Fuecoco fell asleep shortly after you brainstormed ideas of different Pokémon you could catch, you doubt that Fuecoco cared what Pokémon you caught but you still told him so that he wouldn't be any surprised when and if it did actually happen.

You heard the sound of crashing waves up against the shore, you should probably catch something like a Water Type in Porto Marinada or even a Fairy Type.

You smiled at the thought of catching another Pokémon that wasn't from the Pokémon centre or from Professor Turo.

You adored the thought of Fuecoco having another Pokémon friend that he could properly communicate with, you didn't fully understand what a Pokémon was saying.

You fixed up your side of the tent so that it was good to sleep on, you needed to get used to sleeping on solid ground or you might just begin wasting money on buying a portable bed.

Fuecoco began snoring softly which broke the sounds of waves on the shore.

You made yourself comfortable once more so that Fuecoco was given more room to move around, you realized that he moved lots in his sleep although never actually walked.

You began to think about the kinds of Pokémon that you could meet on your journey. You could totally go try and find some Spidops or even try and catch a Pikachu some time.

You went to sleep after getting settled in multiple positions since it was a little cold due to te strong winds being pushed inland due to the waves.
