⌠ A New Friend ⌡

You woke up the next day to see all your Pokémon already packed up and ready to leave, it was a surprise since your bag was near you and everything.

"You're all so nice!" You smiled

Crocalor managed to climb back onto the couch before you scooped him up and stood.

"Are we ready to go? We still need to do a huge favour for Dachsbun." You smiled

Dachsbun yipped happily as Pincurchin climbed onto your shoulder, Arcanine quickly went out the door.

You grabbed everything and hauled it onto your bag before exiting, you made sure to not forget your hat.

You quickly checked out at the front desk before walking out of the hotel.

"You ready Dachsbun? This is where we get to ride Arcanine!" You smiled

Arcanine barked as you picked up Dachsbun, you had three Pokémon being held by you.

You hopped onto Arcanine quickly and the Pokémon dashed off.

"We need to go to the train stop since Dachsbun's trainer could be there." You said

You planned to take the bus to Tagtree thicket but it wouldn't arrive for another thirty minutes.

You hopped off of Arcanine and set Dachsbun down letting it sniff around for any scents that could be of her trainer.

"Smell anything?" You asked

Dachsbun kept sniffing before sitting down in one spot.

"What's up?" You questioned

Dachsbun saw a Poke Ball that seemed to have been used quite a lot of times, it basically was useless by now.

Dachsbun barked before hopping up onto the bench.

"You think they've been here?" You asked

Dachsbun nodded before barking.

"We've got to catch a train, see you around!" You smiled

Your heart broke, Dachsbun would need to be left alone once more.

You walked off towards the train station with Arcanine, Pincurchin and Crocalor who didn't say anything. They must've been sad too.

The bus pulled up and you took a look at the bench Dachsbun was on.

Empty.

You heard the sound of loud barking and yips, you looked to your left seeing Dachsbun.

Dachsbun barked at you before rolling the Poke Ball to you.

"You wanna come with me?" You asked

Dachsbun barked happily.

"Well, we wouldn't mind another travel partner!" You smiled

You pulled out a Poke Ball and threw it, Dachsbun was quickly caught by you and you released the Pokémon quickly.

"Let's go!" You smiled

You sat at the back which had more room to thankfully fit you, Crocalor, Pincurchin, Arcanine and Dachsbun.

"Let's check out what moves you know." You smiled 

You got out your Rotom Phone and began looking through it.

"Tackle, Covet, Baton Pass and Work Up! Awesome moves! We'll train together to make sure that we can make them as strong as they get!" You exclaimed

Dachsbun happily barked as the bus began to go.

"Tagtree Thicket, next stop." An automated voice said

"Tagtree Thicket! I hope we catch a Pokémon from there! I did say four was enough but the more the merrier!" You smiled

You looked out the window with Dachsbun and Crocalor as Arcanine just stared and Pincurchin took a nap.

"I wonder what Pokémon we'll catch there." You said

Crocalor roared happily.

"I'd say a Dreepy, or even an Arrokuda." You stated

Dachsbun barked before sitting back down once a server came over.

"Anything to drink? Eat?" She asked

"I'll get a few waters and bowls of regular Pokémon food." You smiled

She brought it over within minutes and your Pokémon loved it.

You helped them drink out of the bottle of course since they didn't really have the physical features to do so.

After about three hours of being on the bus you finally made it to Tagtree Thicket.

"Here we are!" You smiled

Tagtree Thicket was a big forest that seemed to have multiple open areas.

You heard a rustle in the bushes but when you looked over only a strong yellow light could be seen running off into the distance.

"What was that?" You asked

Arcanine growled in its direction as Crocalor sent a strong Ember to make sure nothing was there, only a few Murkrow flew off.

You shook the feeling of being watched off before walking farther.

"Maybe we should put out the soup in a few days to catch some Pokémon. Tagtree Thicket can be really confusing." You smiled

Dachsbun walked alongside you and so did Crocalor and Arcanine while Pincurchin stayed on your head.

Pincurchin squeaked a little before fully waking up.

"Is this a good tent spot?" You asked

Arcanine stomped a paw on the ground before stepping back.

"I'll take that as a yes..." You said

You got out the folded tent before reading the instructions while Pincurchin, Arcanine, Crocalor and Dachsbun watched on an old park bench.

You eventually set up the tent but you were worried it'd collapse, you didn't actually know if it'd fit Arcanine or not and if it didn't Dachsbun would need to be squished somewhere.

"Check it out!" You smiled

You opened the tent but you were met with disappointment, it fit Arcanine for sure but it was only a little bigger meaning Dachsbun would still need to squeeze somewhere.

"Okay... we'll make it work!" You exclaimed

Crocalor roared and entered the tent followed by Pincurchin, Arcanine, Dachsbun and then you.

"I know it isn't the biggest but I guess we could make room." You said

Arcanine laid down but he still took up a whole two corners.

Dachsbun happily slept beside Arcanine's head while you were trapped in mounds of Arcanine fluff and you knew that he wouldn't be letting you go anytime soon, awake or asleep.

"Night guys! We'll do some exploring in the morning!" You promised

Dachsbun barked back as Crocalor roared and Pincurchin screeched, Arcanine only moved his tail in response.

You laid there and the tent began to get pretty warm on a cold night so you didn't mind, better than being cold.

The blankets for every Pokémon were on them, good thing the hotel gave complimentary blankets for staying there.

You fell asleep awfully quick for some reason. It wasn't normal since you'd usually wait for all your Pokémon to go to sleep first but it did end up happening and you didn't complain, you couldn't fight it so you just let it slide, you did have quite the pleasant sleep because of it and your Pokémon had a pleasant sleep too.
