⌠ Soup ⌡

You woke up to find that Dachsbun was licking your face in attempts to get you up.

"What's happening?!" You said

Dachsbun barked in alarm and jumped back as you quickly sat up.

Crocalor looked over in confusion from outside of the tent.

"How do you keep opening the tent?" You asked

Pincurchin seemed to be latched to Crocalor's back while Arcanine was sniffing around.

You quickly put on your hat and got changed into some fresh clothes before going outside the tent to go see what was going on.

"Em... morning? What were we gonna do today again?" You said

Arcanine barked at your bag and everything came back to you.

"We were gonna go check out the forest to put some soup out and see if it attracts Pokémon!" You exclaimed

Crocalor roared happily and Pincurchin screeched in approval.

Dachsbun hopped onto the little table using the chairs, she sat there just staring at you.

"Oh fine, I'll carry you." You smiled

Dachsbun barked happily as you picked her up after swinging your bag over your shoulder.

Pincurchin squeaked as Crocalor walked alongside you and so did Arcanine.

You had the soup in your hand just incase it needed to be a quick trip.

"Maybe we should put it in the darkest parts of the forest but that means we need a trail marker, Pincurchin! Use Zing Zap!" You exclaimed

Pincurchin used the move onto the ground and landed on Crocalor's back, the ground now looked as though it was burned severely, a singe almost.

"Great!" You smiled

Just then a Spidops appeared, it seemed angry.

Arcanine got in front ready to defend.

You looked to your right seeing a large and thick silk.

"We're on its territory!" You informed

Crocalor roared in distress.

The Spidops used Throat Chop which knocked Arcanine back.

"Arcanine! Use Flame Wheel!" You ordered

The Spidops was hit and although it was a Fire Type move the Spidops endured it, the Pokémon was obviously training hard to defend its territory.

"Use Fire Fang!" You shouted

Dachsbun barked as a way to cheer for Arcanine.

Spidops blocked the attack using another Throat Chop.

"Let's try a different approach. Use Flamethrower from right where you are!" You yelled

Arcanine used the move and it knocked Spidops into a tree before it used Sticky Web.

"Arcanine!" You exclaimed

Arcanine struggled to move and he began enduring the attacks like Bug Bite and Headbutt, Pincurchin squeaked.

You watched Arcanine, you didn't know what to do. 

Arcanine then had fire surrounding him and broke free using a new move, Flare Blitz.

"Woah! Arcanine learned Flare Blitz!" You exclaimed

Arcanine then used another new move, what?! Play Rough was learned.

"Play Rough and Flare Blitz in the same day?!" You shouted

Arcanine rammed Spidops into a tree which rendered it unable to battle, the Pokémon quickly slipped away.

"Woah! You were amazing!" You smiled

Arcanine received lots of pets and praise for learning two new moves.

"Now, let's go see some more places!" You exclaimed

Your Pokémon team followed you.

"Woah! What're these?" You said

There seemed to be splotches along the ground, different colours splattered everywhere.

"Woah! There's more!" You smiled

There were coloured markings on many trees, awesome.

Pincurchin looked at them, they seemed to be fresh and had an awful stench.

"I wouldn't touch those if I were you." You coughed

Dachsbun grabbed the soup and placed it on the ground before quickly jumping back into your arms, you took a picture of the markings with your Rotom Phone before quickly evacuating the area with your Pokémon.

"That was disgusting! What made those?" You questioned

Crocalor roared before continuing to run.

"Hey! Wait up!" You laughed

You began running with Arcanine and Dachsbun.

You made it back to where your tent was and in that time span you had forgotten what the horrid smell was like earlier.

Dachsbun chased around Crocalor while Arcanine and Pincurchin were sat near the table, you were making food using some ingredients around you. Not that you even knew what they did.

"I say we could do some training tomorrow! We haven't done much purposeful training and you all seem eager to get stronger!" You smiled

Arcanine nodded as Pincurchin screeched in agreement, all Dachsbun and Crocalor did was run around your legs and give nods before going back to the game of tag.

You noticed something behind the trees, it seemed to be a Pokémon with odd fur or even hair.

"What is that?" You asked

Pincurchin looked over but it was gone.

You shook it off, it was either a small Pokémon watching you or just something the corner of your eye saw. Anyones eyes could play tricks on them if seen at the corner of your eyes.

You finished up the food and portioned it out for your team.

"Just for closure! I have no idea what this is." You informed

Crocalor was to first to try it and he absolutely loved it, next was Pincurchin and it was the same so eventually everyone tried it including you.

"This is good!" You smiled

Arcanine finished up first and the next to finish was Dachsbun, they seemed quite happy about the food they were given.

"Let's get some rest for tomorrow!" You said

You opened up the tent which let your four Pokémon into it and then you went in, obviously closing the entrance behind you.

You got out everyone's blankets and wrapped them around your Pokémon since it once again seemed like a pretty cold night.

Crocalor decided he should help so he used Ember on a piece of wood from outside the tent to make some sort of campfire, it wouldn't last long but it was still something.

Pincurchin was the first Pokémon asleep followed by Dachsbun and then Crocalor and Arcanine meaning you were the last one asleep.

You'd try to work on new moves for your Pokémon for them to feel special for a day or two about learning one, it'd also benefit them incase of emergency since using the same moves repeatedly isn't quite solid in some battles.

You went to sleep after a little while of thinking, most likely after the fire outside turned into embers since there was a wave of cold air that hit the tent. You didn't mind it though since it was beginning to get pretty hot even for Pokémon like Pincurchin.
