Personality: Tianheng appears pretty arrogant and selfish at first, but the layers only show during his battle against Koutarou, where he demonstrates a deep ache for his family and desire to protect his friends. Therapy allows Tianheng to become much more expressive to others, and he finally manages to accept his parents' passing while coming to terms with Akashiro. He also confesses his crush on Amato and moves forward. It is Tianheng who approaches Uju to plead for him to stop this madness, to just come clean and not go through with the plan of infecting Bokomon with the code, but it is ignored as Uju managed to unlock Fragmented Evolution for themself.
Weaknesses; Tianheng displays an insecurity regarding his past, specifically about how he was ousted by his form teacher which led to his trauma resurfacing. However, with the help of the team, Tianheng finally breaks free of it. He was also once very abusive towards his Digimon partners, believing all Digimon should suffer after Jyureimon killed his parents. However, once he was defeated by Koutarou due to their strong bond, Tianheng finds the will to finally move past the past and begins treating them better.

Relationships: Tianheng is closest to Amato, as the two both engage in creative activities, but he also begins spending time with Lopmon and the others, helping around DigiHarmony as a way to atone. Still, he and Koutarou have a friendly rivalry and the two will engage in friendly spars at times with Yuga and Dia. (He still questions WHY Dia is so good.) Angoramon and Tianheng share an interest in books and Tianheng recommends the best books according to preference.
