STARING UP AT THE CEILING THAT
had opened to reveal a large, golden piggy bank, music almost akin to game show music playing, (Y/n) let out a small scoff at the sight, shoving her hands in her jacket's pockets as she smirked.

Isn't this interesting...

"Your prize money will be accumulated in there after every game," the masked square guard explained as everyone only gazed upward in shock. "We will disclose the amount to everyone after the first game is over. If you do not wish to participate, then please let us know at this time."

No one spoke or moved, it seemed.

Because of that, the masked man pressed a button on the remote he held in his hand to let the piggy bank slowly disappear back into the ceiling, the lights switching back on and making most people blink at the sudden adjustment of vision. More guards with the circle masks then brought in stands that they set before the other eight circle guards along with handing them a pile of official looking documents.

Then they left.

"Now," the supervisor said as he stepped backward just a bit. "Please get in eight lines in front of each stand."

Everyone hesitated at first, but (Y/n) didn't. Moving through the crowd, she stood in front of the second circle guard to the right, wanting to imagine that her eyes were boring into his own. Taking the pen that he had extended toward her, her hand brushing against his own that made him visibly flinch, she stared at him for a second longer before lowering her gaze to the document lain against the stand so she could write.
