WHEN THE TIMER BEEPED, SIGNALING that time had run out, the glass tiles exploded, sending the shattered shards flying everywhere. All of the players that had passed immediately turned around to try and avoid these dangerous pieces, but due to being so close, not all were lucky.

Player 360 gasped, his body bleeding in a variety of places, having taken the brunt of the damage.

Feeling himself start to slip in and out of conscious, he reached out and grabbed onto the person nearest to him, which happened to be player 017. Unfortunately, with how much 017 struggled in 360's hold, it made both of them stumble backward and slip on the edge, falling down to their deaths that promptly ended 017's screams but not 360's due to him already being unconscious.

That left only (Y/n), Sang-woo, Gi-hun, and Sae-byeok.

All seemed relatively unharmed.

Only a few minor cuts.

But their expressions were one of disturbance and distress, finding that the thought of obtaining victory yet it then slipping from one's grasp a bittersweet and unfulfilling ending.

(Y/n) wiped away the blood on her cheek that spilt from a newly formed cut on her jaw opposite from her scar, glancing upward to see Jung-hoon standing there with his gun held tightly in his hands. His gaze was steady, but she could see the slight tremble in his fingers, the almost minuscule shaking in his knees, and knew that he had been watching her very closely, worried about her safety.

It made her smirk.

"I made it," she gave a rather raspy and joyless laugh as she approached him. "All without your guys' help, just like I knew I would."

He didn't say anything, instead opening the door that he had stood guarding and gesturing with his hand for her to follow him, something she did along with the other three. He lead them through the multicolored room down one of the staircases back toward the main space, staying pretty silent the entire time, something that the players didn't complain about after what had happened.
